The practice was particularly popular in Victorian times when men and women used gifts of fragrant flowers to express emotions and passions that could never be uttered aloud. Neil Faulkner has combined the sentiments and the vibrant colours of flowers to create a collection of elegant and beautiful figurines.

True Love s abundant locks of glossy brunette hair provide striking contrast to the blue tones of her dress and floral basket. The botanical name for the vibrant forget-me-not is Myosotis, which derives from the Greek word mus meaning mouse and ous for ear, because the plant s leaves are shaped like mouse s ears. Chrysanthemum comes from the Greek word Chrys meaning golden (the colour of the original flower), and anthemon, meaning flower. The original photograph was taken in the garden at Highgrove House and shows William with his arms around her neck and Harry sitting closely next to her. In this detailed study, Neil Welch has captured the strong and warm affection and the love and the happiness existing between Diana and her sons.

15 PLATINUM WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip 70th Wedding Anniversary HN 5874 Height 24.5cm Available June Limited Edition 1, AU$ NZ$ On November 20th 2017 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II & HRH Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary and to commemorate this landmark occasion, Royal Doulton has created a limited edition figurine. The portrait of the royal couple is inspired by an official photograph taken to mark the Diamond Jubilee of The Queen s accession to the throne in February The Queen s crown is known as the State Diadem and this stunning circlet is made from 1333 diamonds with a double band of 169 pearls. It dates from 1820 when it was made for King George IV. The Queen wore it during the procession to Westminster Abbey prior to her coronation in 1953 and she also wears it annually at the State Opening of Parliament. The diamond necklace and earrings she wears are known as the Coronation Necklace and Earrings. These were commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1858 and were worn by her at her Diamond Jubilee in 1887, and since then by Queens Alexandra, Mary and Elizabeth at their coronations and on other state occasions. The Queen s engagement ring and her bracelet - a wedding gift from the Duke of Edinburgh - were made from diamonds from a tiara formerly owned by his mother, Princess Alice of Battenberg. The Duke designed and commissioned the jewellery from London jeweller Philip Antrobus. Across her State Dress, The Queen wears the blue Garter Riband and pinned on to this are the Royal Family orders of King George V and King George VI, and also the Lesser George Emblem. Below this, on her dress she also wears the Garter Star. The Duke of Edinburgh s uniform consists of a tailcoat with standing collar, gold braids to the sleeves, gold shoulder boards, gold chains and buttons, a black and gold belt and gold laced black trousers. The Duke also carries a ceremonial sword. The Duke proudly wears service medals from the Second World War and Jubilee and Coronation medals. He also has the Order of Merit - a red and blue cross worn on a red and blue ribbon around his neck - and wears the Royal Victorian Chain.
