3 SPRING / SUMMER COLLECTION 2015 Steeped in history though our machines and skills may be; classics though many of our hat shapes have become, for Spring/Summer 2015 we again unveil new styles and fabrications to ensure Christys hats remain contemporary and foremost in the minds of the fashion conscious and practical minded alike. The skill of the panama weavers never ceases to impress. Our handwoven hoods are imported directly from Ecuador and then lovingly crafted into hats of distinction here in Witney. Alongside the classic bleached and natural, our seasonal colours - chocolate, blue, graphite and pink - will be seen across the fashion spectrum. For cross-seasonal wear, experience our new 75g lightweight fur felt in the Hove and Kempton styles and our summer tweed Balmoral caps. Great hats for all seasons. 5 HANDMADE PANAMAS Every panama starts life on the coastal plains of Ecuador. The remarkable toquila straw is hand woven to form stunning hoods - which our skilled team at Christys then craft into the shapes and styles you see in our distinctive Spring/Summer collection. In addition to our classic bleached and natural colours, a specially commissioned dégradé weave as well as the seasonal colours of blue, chocolate, graphite and pink, make an eye catching addition to the collection. Try the Superfine Grade 8 for a panama of superlative quality and feel.
