13 Climate changes have brought all responsible companies to think again about their own activities with the aim of reducing the impact on the environment. Aware of this Galassia spa has invested on sustainable energies, particularly in installing a photovoltaic power generation system in a process of energy efficiency. This is an investment which shows how the Company has always been proactive to environmental issues for the welfare of everyone. In recent years the company has made huge investments replacing the entire roof of the factory with an insulation cover with less dispersion, eliminating the risk of pollution of the old Eternit roof. The structure covers square meters of surface, able to produce the necessary energy for production processes through the most sustainable source, the sun, saving over 260 tons of CO2 per year. Producing electricity with this new system avoids the use of fossil fuels like oil and coal and prevents the emission of polluting agents Cox (greenhouse gas), NOx (photochemical smog) and SOx (acid rains). 13
