Originally I scoffed at the initial price of the Sisley gear, however over the years have come to appreciate the quality. 3 Nomex Fabrics For Flight Suits FABRIC SPECIFICATIONS Nomex Delta C, Nomex 111A and Nomex FR Lenzing fabrics are inherently flame resistant and will never melt. The Fabric will Protect the wearer from heat and flame of a flash fire. It also provides valuable seconds of protection for escape and minimising the potential for burn injury. Protection is inherent, built into the molecular structure of the fibre itself. It does not come from chemical treatment or add-ons. This means that the flame and heat resistance of Nomex garments is stable and permanent and will not wash out. It combines two thin layersof a Nomex/Kevlar E89 non-woven, and the premier CALDURA face cloth that provides a slick surface allowing you to move in and out of your garment with ease. Unmatched wickability moves perspiration away from your body to keep you drier. Excellent pilling resistance and soft, slick hand for maximum comfort. The thinnest, light weight thermal protection available. Aerotech Dark Navy Fabric Dark Navy 160gsm Nomex on the outside and has a Tri-laminate on the inside. The membrane ensures the garment is 100% Waterproof & 100% Wind Proof. The FR fabric on the outside has a water repellent treatment to make the garment not get wet and heavy. Power Dry T-Shirt Polartec Power Dry FR 176gsm, performance features combine both permanent moisture management with permanent flame resistance. Featuring Polartec patented bi-component knit construction that uses different yarns on either side of the fabric. This creates two different surfaces: one that is optimized to move moisture away from the skin, the other to dry quickly. Avoid constant rubbing on other fabrics or things as this will cause pilling. Company Recommendation Trouser in heavy weight fabric 200gsm and Jacket in light weight 150gsm where possible.
