Halagueno at 2:40 pm in the office of the Purchasing Carlsbad, New Mexico Department in Room 101. At precisely 2:40 or p.m. on June 7, 2013 bids will be opened PO Box 1569 and read aloud in Conference Room 116 Carlsbad, New Mexico Bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope: Bid No Fire Department Uniforms. 2. All bids must be submitted on bid forms furnished by the City of Carlsbad. 3. In order to be a valid bid, all bids must be signed. 4. Please submit three copies of your bid. 5. No alternate bids will be accepted. 6. All bid prices, shall include transportation charges. 7. Prices must be held firm from July 1, 2013 through June 30, All awarded items must be kept in stock. 9. If your bid contains exception, please attach a separate sheet indicating your exceptions to this bid. 10. The City of Carlsbad reserves the right to accept and award bid on lowest overall bid price or lowest item price. 11. Samples must be provided with bid for all items. 12. A permanent employee of the vendor shall measure each individual, for all uniforms, to ensure a proper fit. The vendor shall deliver the uniforms in person and shall ensure that all uniforms fit, or alter to fit, prior to uniforms being accepted. 13. The term of the agreement shall be for a period of one (1) year, renewable for three (3) additional years at the same terms and conditions specified herein provided, however, that such agreement may be terminated without penalty by the City in any year for which the City Council fails to appropriate sufficient funds. 2 The Procurement Code, Section through NMSA 1978, imposes civil and criminal penalties for its violation.
