2 Hiromi Asai & Kimono Artisan Kyoto Kimono: Kimono is originally a Japanese garment with many unique features: form, motif, design, fabrics, and accessories. Kimono has a long history more than 1,000 years in Japan. Though many people in the world know the word Kimono, most people don t know what really Kimono is and how beautiful Kimono is. Our Fashion Concept: We focus on authentic Kimono Fashion and distribute Kimono Fashion to all over the world. We believe that Kimono will be recognized as a universal formal wear that is beyond cultural and ethnic boundaries. Our Mission and Products: A US-based kimono fashion stylist/designer, Hiromi Asai, and a leading association of kimono artisans in Kyoto, Japan, Kimono Artisan Kyoto, collaborate for expanding the market of Kimono Fashion to the world. We will provide authentic Kimono outfits with the highest qualities directly from Kyoto. People that see our Kimono outfits will rediscover and wonder that "old-fashioned" Kimono is really a "modern" dress with huge capacity of variation.

Hiromi Asai Hiromi Asai is New York-Florida based internationally acclaimed kimono stylist and designer, to work for fashion magazines and advertisements.

She also founded a non-profit organization, Kimono Hiro Inc. to diffuse kimono fashion to the world.

3 Hiromi Asai Hiromi Asai is New York-Florida based internationally acclaimed kimono stylist and designer, to work for fashion magazines and advertisements. She produced many kimono fashion shows at Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and The Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg, and in New York, as well as in Florida. She also founded a non-profit organization, Kimono Hiro Inc. to diffuse kimono fashion to the world. Kimono Artisan Kyoto Kimono Artisan Kyoto, a Japanese non-profit organization, is a leading association of kimono textile artisans in Kyoto, who use the most prominent age-old techniques in Japan. Members of this association can cooperate to provide all kimono outfits by themselves. Some remembers and workshops were founded more than 100 years ago. Kimono Artisan Kyoto acts internationally for the future of kimono and kimono artisans and creates the highest quality of kimono in Japan. 12 Recent Press Release Kickstarter Challenge to Bring Real Kimono to New York Fashion Week for Helping Artisans to Survive (7/2/2015) Kimono artisans and stylist plan to bring Kimono to New York Fashion Week in February 2016 for helping Kimono artisans to survive. The Kickstarter campaign for this project, organized by nonprofit organizations, is on-going until July 31, Succeed Kickstarter Crowdfunding to Bring Real Kimono to New York Fashion Week for Saving Artisans (7/29/2015) Kimono artisans and stylist bring Kimono on runway at New York Fashion Week in February 2016 for saving dying art of kimono creation. This project is successfully funded at $50,000 by Kickstarter crowdfunding. The campaign continues until July 31.
