OSHA Regulatory Status: This product is hazardous according to OSHA 29CFR COMPOSITION / INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS General Information: The product is the liquid part of a two-part liquid and powder cement and/or carbonaceous grout. Follow the Product Use Instructions when working with this product (Section 7 of the MSDS). This chemical is hazardous according to OSHA/WHMIS criteria. 4 FIRST AID MEASURES Inhalation: Move injured person into fresh air and keep person calm under observation. Get medical attention immediately. Eye Contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyes wide apart. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to rinse. Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothes and rinse skin thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention immediately. Ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water and give large amounts of milk or water, if person is conscious. Get medical attention immediately. 5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES Extinguishing Media: Extinguish with foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or water fog. This product is not designed for and should not be used as a working coating on hot face of furnace lining. At temperatures above 70 C (160 F) furfuryl alcohol begins to vaporize and flashoff. Always be certain that cementing and grouting practices allow for the escape of furfuryl alcohol vapors. Avoid inhalation of vapors and contact with skin and eyes.
