4 4. FIRST AID MEASURES Symptoms and First Aid Measures Inhalation No known effects with normal use. May cause intoxication in the event of exposure to large, industrial-scale spillages. If severe signs of intoxication eg drunkenness occurs, seek medical advice. Skin Contact This product is intended to be in contact with human skin. However, if irritation occurs, wash affected area and discontinue use. Eye Contact May cause irritation. Flush eyes immediately with clean water. Seek medical advice. In an event where there are high vapour concentrations, wear an approved organic vapour respirator. Eliminate all sources of ignition and take measures to prevent static discharge no smoking. Ventilate the area well. Environmental Precautions Stop and contain the spill by using an inert absorbent material such as sand to mop up product leaked from the packaging and dispose the spillage and damaged packs using an approved method. Prevent run-off into drains and waterways. Ensure that the surface (floor) is cleaned thoroughly with detergent and water as any product residue may leave the floor slippery.
