Give water to drink. Seek medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before re-use. Wash affected skin thoroughly with soap and water. Hold the eyes open and flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention. A safety shower and an eye irrigation facility should be provided. This Material Safety Data Sheet should be provided to the attending medical doctor. Advice to Doctor Inhalation: Treat symptomatically. CNS depression, characterised by headache and nausea. Ingestion: Gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and cramping. CNS depression, ranging from mild headache to anaesthesia and coma. Pulmonary irritation secondary to exhalation of solvent. Lavage with cuffed tube if large quantity ingested. Avoid sympathomimetic amines. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Suitable Extinguishing Media Firefighters should fight large fires with AFFF foam. For smaller fires, suitable extinguishers are dry chemical, carbon dioxide or foam. Specific Methods If this product is involved in a fire, firefighters should wear gloves, goggles and self-contained breathing apparatus. Specific Hazards None known. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Spills & Disposal Personnel involved in cleaning up any spills are to wear oil impervious gloves if prolonged or repeated skin contact is likely. The wearing of safety glasses is recommended. Remove all sources of heat or ignition. Do not smoke during the clean-up procedure. Cordon off the spillage area. Isolate the source of the spillage or leak. Contain the spillage using a suitable nonflammable absorbent material such as sand or diatomaceous earth (but not sawdust), and then transfer to correctly labelled, sealed plastic containers for disposal. Prevent the spillage from entering the sewerage system or waterways. Dispose of large amounts in a suitable chemical dump (check the local statutory requirements).

Ensure the appropriate personal protective equipment is used when handling this material. Use safe workplace practices and avoid contaminating waterways. Ensure a high level of personal hygiene is maintained when using this product. That is; always wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking or using toilet facilities. Store in a clean, dry, cool, well ventilated area away from foodstuffs. Keep containers well sealed when not in use. 8. Ensure that the ventilation is adequate. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes and avoid breathing the vapour or dusts generated while using this product. If prolonged or repeated skin contact is likely, oil impervious gloves should be worn. The wearing of safety glasses is recommended. Always wash skin and clothing after using this product. 9. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION Inhalation Ingestion Skin Eye Chronic Effects Reproductive Toxicity Mutagenicity Carcinogenicity Vapours may irritate the nose and respiratory tract. Prolonged irritation may cause headaches and nausea. Dusts may be generated when shaking the dried polish from polishing pads or cloths. These dusts will contain encapsulated calcined kaolin. The calcined kaolin is encapsulated within the wax and silicones and judged to be non-hazardous in use but the inhalation of dusts may cause coughing, wheezing and difficulty in breathing. Moderate irritant. Slightly toxic. Dusts generated while using this product may be regarded as essentially non-irritating if swallowed. Mildly irritating to the skin. Signs of irritation include redness, itchiness and eventually cracking of the skin. Irritation usually only occurs after prolonged, repeated skin contact and is due to the de-fatting effect on the skin of the liquid hydrocarbons and to the abrasive action on the skin of the abrasive. May lead to the onset of dermatitis. Irritating to the eyes. Signs of irritation include redness, soreness and tear production. Dusts generated while using this product will contain a mild abrasive which may lead to scratching of the cornea and temporary irritation. Dermatitis may occur after prolonged, repeated skin contact and is due to the de-fatting effect on the skin of the liquid hydrocarbons and to the abrasive action on the skin of the abrasive. Dusts may be generated when shaking the dried polish from polishing pads or cloths. These dusts will contain encapsulated calcined kaolin. The calcined kaolin is encapsulated within the wax and silicones and judged to be non-hazardous in use but the inhalation of dusts may cause coughing, wheezing and difficulty in breathing. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION Short Summary of Assessment of Environmental Impact Expected to have low toxicity to aquatic organisms. The hydrocarbon contained in this product is biodegradable. It degrades rapidly in air by photo-chemical means. However, use according to criteria of good industrial practice and avoid product dispersion in the environment. 13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS Product Disposal Dispose of product in a chemical dump according to local authority statutory requirements. For small, residual amounts, wash the product to the drain with a large excess of water. Container Empty containers may be rinsed clean with water then recycled.
