Increased focus on hand rubs reduces both infections and costs for two reasons: The first is its documented effect. The disinfection agent is quicker to use and works better on bacteria deep down and permanent flora. The second reason is the human factor. If the user finds the disinfectant doesn t cause wounds, dry skin or eczema, whilst at the same time taking less time, he/she will use it more often. We are certified in accordance with EN- ISO 13485:2003, the directive for medical equipment 93/42/EEC, Annex V, and follow these procedures closely as a stage of development. These tests cover how many and what type of bacteria/ fungus/ virus a product is capable of killing within a certain time. All our products passed! 5 Disinfection of surfaces, fittings and instruments Surface Disinfectant Surface Disinfectant is an important and widely used agent for surface disinfection today. It works rapidly and effectively against vegetative bacteria, mycobacteria (tubercle bacteria), fungi and various viruses. It contains 3 different alcohols and is based mainly on ethanol. The alcohol strength is 75%. It is used to disinfect surfaces, equipment and fittings. Its unique composition provides an optimal anti-bacterial and anti-viral effect, whilst it has little smell and is simple to use in comparison with other surface disinfectants. Moisten the surface with, leave for 1 minute and the surface is ready for use without any further treatment. No form of protective equipment is necessary during use. For the best possible effect remove all organic material before use. Complies with EN 1275, EN 1276, EN 1650, EN 1040 and EN CE marked. Wet wipes for surface disinfection Particularly suitable for surfaces in the food industry and health sector. The product has been tested in the meat, fish, dairy, bakery and brewing industries. It has the same content and effect as the liquid Surface disinfection alcohol. The wipe is biodegradable and satisfies the requirements stipulated for the food industry. It is supplied in boxes of 150 or 70 disinfecting wipes. Clean the object/surface with the wipe and leave for one minute. Should evaporation occur rapidly, repeat the treatment. The surface requires no form of after-treatment and protective equipment is not necessary during use. Simple, rapid and effective. Complies with EN 1275, EN 1276, EN 1650, EN 1040 and EN CE marked. Floor wipes floor wipes are ideal for rapid and effective disinfection of floors and large surfaces without leaving traces. The wipes are ready to use. Keep the pack sealed to prevent drying out. Wash the area and then throw away the wipe. The treated surface will dry rapidly and there is no need for rinsing or aftertreatment. Fasten the wipe to a mop or other suitable tool when using on large floor surfaces. It should not be used on waxed parquet floors, carpets and soft surfaces. Equipment Disinfectant works rapidly and effectively against vegetative bacteria, mycobacteria (tubercle bacteria), fungi and various viruses. The product is best suited for use where water is unsuitable and when cleaning instruments and equipment that easily corrode. With an alcohol concentration of 95%, mainly based on ethanol, it dries very rapidly, perfect for equipment which is time consuming to air-dry. Complies with EN Superkill Superkill is based on 60% isopropanol and is used to disinfect equipment (combs, scissors, etc) and surfaces in hairdressing salons and piercing studios, etc. The product works rapidly and evaporates without leaving traces on the treated areas. Moisten the object with Superkill, and leave for two minutes. Repeat the treatment if evaporation occurs rapidly. The Norwegian Board of Health Supervision recommends the use of isopropanol when disinfecting hairdressing salons. 8 9

The new Hand Disinfectant contains 85 % alcohol in line with the WHO s recommendations. This is because a higher alcohol content provides a better effect against bacteria and viruses. The new contains over 80 % ethanol, an environmentally friendly alcohol that does not cause allergies or irritations. It contains less than 5% IPA (isopropanol). Thus we have reduced the quantity of IPA, whilst increasing its anti-bacterial and anti-viral effect. The only active substances in the new are alcohols. We believe the new is the best choice for both hands and the environment. You will notice just how much softer your hands become with our new formula. Due to the increased alcohol content we have chosen to add several softening agents in addition to the original glycerol; a newly patented substance from the cosmetic industry that is both anti-bacterial and very softening, and Aloe Barbadensis, which, in addition to reducing irritation, is also anti-bacterial and a softening agent. This makes the wipe soft, skin friendly whilst retaining moisture very well. The wet wipe is particularly suitable before and after meal times and in other circumstances where there is a need to disinfect hands or where it is difficult to obtain access to water. 9 Surgical The first choice of surgical hand disinfectant for operations due to its better effect, skin friendliness and not least because the method is considerably faster than a surgical hand wash. The purpose of Surgical is to neutralise microbes and to reduce the normal flora on the hands. The product is composed of 4 different alcohols with an alcohol strength of 80%. It is mainly based on ethanol, which means it doesn t smell very strongly during use. It's low viscosity means it penetrates into all the grooves and lines of the skin. We have added glycerol in order to keep the hands soft and flexible. Surgical works rapidly and effectively against vegetative bacteria, mycobacteria (tubercle), fungi and various viruses. It does not cause resistance or irritations or allergies to the skin. It can be obtained in a 750 ml size with dosage box or a 700 ml bag in box for automatic dispensers. Surgical Hand Disinfectant complies with the requirements in pren Use Surgical Hand Disinfectant before the first operation of the day Wash thoroughly with soap for 1-2 minutes. Dry well. Then rub in plenty of Surgical (minimum 10 ml), in portions, into the hands, wrists, forearms and then elbows for a minimum of 3 minutes. Use Surgical, between short operations ( <3 hours ) No hand wash is necessary if the hands are visibly clean. Then rub plenty of Surgical Hand Disinfectant (minimum 10 ml), in portions, into the hands, wrists, forearms and then elbows for a minimum of 3 minutes. Allow the hands and forearms to air dry before touching the gloves.
