Seriously FAB owner Lisa has been a skincare junkie from a very early age. In her 30s, she became particularly obsessed with sunscreen and tried in upwards of hundreds of sun protection products over a 10-year span, with very few landing on the short list. While at an event one day, standing smack in the late afternoon, she realized that the topical sunscreen she had put on under her makeup earlier that morning had long ago stopped working. She thought, Wouldn t it be great if there was a sheer sunscreen that you could literally mist on top of your makeup every couple of hours to stay protected from sun damage? That random pondering was the catalyst for creating the company Seriously FAB. She subsequently discovered there were a few chemical-based SPF makeup setting mists, but no true Over Makeup Sunscreens on the market and definitely nothing with Zinc Oxide. She positively wanted the main ingredient to be Zinc because she believed it to be the best & safest sunscreen active available in the US market. But how on earth do you make Zinc sheer enough to be able to mist on top of makeup? Is this even scientifically possible?! After a long and arduous R&D process, the ZINC IT OVER formulation was created.
