3 NEWS photo: Robert Gruber, Health and Beauty Great success for the autumn event BEAUTY FORUM MUNICH On October 27 th and 28 th, 2012, the exhibition was held for the 27 th time. Almost 40,000 trade visitors from the fields of cosmetics, nails, podology, wellness and day spas with the hotel managers, and even pharmacists, doctors and drug store managers, took advantage of the opportunity to see a wide selection of products and services at the trade fair 2 percent more visitors than in the previous year. The tradeshow also proved to be very popular in 2012 when more than 7,000 visitors from 56 countries attended the 27 th edition of BEAUTY FORUM MUNICH. The wide range of exhibits included colour cosmetics, apparative cosmetics, skin care products, nail design, nail art, nail care, foot care and podology, as the core topics, but there was strong representation from the booming medical beauty, wellness and spa, and natural cosmetics sectors. There were in total some 850 companies and brands showing their latest developments, products and treatments. Alongside the trade exhibition the presented a professional and supporting programme with more than 90 workshops, congress sessions, company and expert talks all adding up to a practical and varied programme of ongoing training for the trade visitors. In addition to the workshops, with more than 600 visitors to the Beauty & Style, NailArt, Wellness, Natural Cosmetics and Business events on both days of the exhibition, there were also high quality congresses covering and that attracted more than 140 attendees. Company Around 40,000 visitors took advantage of the varied exhibition and training possibilities presentations, product presentations and expert talks were held in parallel with the exhibition at the Meeting Points and in the exhibition halls. The highlight of this year s supporting programme was the stage show and workshop put on by top make-up artist Boris Entrup.
