Laurent and his fellow climbers continued on to take on Scafell Pike and finished the hike in just 2 hours and 45 minutes putting them 3 hours ahead

Finally, victorious, they completed the challenge at Mount Snowdon with just over 3 hours to spare.

5 news&events Laurent Van Bekkum CEO of MONU completes Three Peaks Challenge Hannah Visits Jersey for In-Salon Training Hannah recently travelled to Jersey to conduct in salon training for Jessica and her team at Bonita Beauty (lucky Hannah!). Bonita is in its 24th year of trading and has been developed into one of the most beautiful salons on the island. Set in the outstanding grounds of Les Ormes Lodge and Leisure Club, Bonita is in the heart of all the action. Whether you are coming up for a coffee and a catch up, or a round of golf with friends, Bonita welcomes everybody who visits with a friendly face. Massive congratulations to our CEO Laurent Van Bekkum for completing the Three Peaks Challenge in just 20 hours and 58 minutes! After conquering Ben Nevis first, completing the climb in just over 4 hours, the team of four lost one climber to a twisted knee. Laurent and his fellow climbers continued on to take on Scafell Pike and finished the hike in just 2 hours and 45 minutes putting them 3 hours ahead of the course time. Spirits remained high despite aching muscles and fatigue beginning to creep in. Finally, victorious, they completed the challenge at Mount Snowdon with just over 3 hours to spare. Despite saying he d never want to do it again we are sure Laurent might take on another challenge in the future, even if it is just so he can grow an explorer s beard as part of his training programme! The challenge was completed to raise money for the Starlight Foundation. The charity grants wishes to seriously and terminally ill children and entertains over half a million children every year in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK.
