1 Introduction Parents want to provide the very best for their babies. Many would spend significant amount of money to purchase the safest products for their love ones. However, paying more for a baby product does not necessarily mean that it is safer. World Green Organisation (WGO) is creating a White List of baby personal care products with higher standards that have passed biological testing, chemical analysis and international ingredient check. World Green Organisation s Product White List The objectives of this 3-year project are to: Raise public awareness to the potential health and safety threats through scientific product testing methodologies. Empower consumers with the most up-to-date information and knowledge on product safety standards for their health and the environment. Incentivise manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers to pursue higher safety standards and only produce products that meet current biological testing, chemical analysis and international ingredient check. 2 Testing Three-Defence Methodology Samples are then sent to 3 internationally renowned laboratories for biological, chemical, and ingredient tests. The list is also endorsed by the Vitargent Certification Scheme.
