18 GRAPHIC MAKE-UP 1ST COMPETITION PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP "LINEAR MAKE-UP" Model's skin: must be clean, without primer. Before the start of the competition, the Inspection Commission verifies that the skin is clean, without correction and primer. It is permitted to apply cream or base for use under make-up. Products: products used in classic make-up /eye shadows, powder, blush, eyeliner etc./ are permitted. Only tufts or whole eyelash strings in black are allowed. Execution: make-up must be based on contrast, pure form and precision in running the line. Colour must be subordinated to forms and shapes. The make-up zone is limited to eyelids the forehead and cheeks are excluded. A great deal of freedom in terms of themes is allowed. Clothing: It should be fashionable and up to date, relevant to the nature of make-up. Hairstyle: the concept of head harmoniously matching make-up and clothing of the model. Time: 40 minutes Assessment: Assessment will cover precision of make-up, its stylistic connection with hairstyle, clothing and type of beauty of the model. Scoring: a maximum of 30 points, minimum score depending on the number of participants. Competition performed on a model who is over 18 years old. The model must not help during make-up. The model can only hold tools and cosmetics. During the assessment of the Commission, the model must face the juror. Permanent make-up is prohibited. 19 2ND COMPETITION CREATIVE MAKE-UP "STARRY WOMAN INSPIRED BY THE OUTER SPACE" Model's skin must be clean, without primer. Before the start of the competition, the Inspection Commission verifies that the skin is clean, without correction and primer. It is permitted to apply cream or base for use under make-up. Products: Make-up can be performed by any techniques using products used in make-up /eye shadows, powders, blushes, eyeliners, false eyelashes etc./. It is permitted to strengthen the means of expression, originality and creativity with sticking elements. Execution: The Starry Woman is the theme of the second Creative Make-up competition, inspired by the outer space. The outer space exudes brilliance, mystery. It shows the light-dark contrast and extraordinary colour palettes, nebulae, stardust and the like. The outer space moves and delights. What impresses you? Create an unusual female character based on your own idea of a Starry Woman. The concept must not take the form of scenic make-up and body painting. Clothes, hairstyle, headdress: Individual statement of the author in terms of styling, referring to the subject. Time: 60 minutes Assessment: Assessment will cover make-up, aesthetic expression, harmony, taking into account the overall styling including: make-up, styling of the head (hair, headdress, decorations, etc.), clothes and original idea. Scoring: a maximum of 30 points, minimum score depending on the number of participants. NOTE: Competition performed on a model who is over 18 years old. The model must not help during make-up. 20 HAIR EXTENSION AND THICKENING SENIORS HAIR EXTENSION AND THICKENING ON MODELS The aim of the competition is to present innovations in the field A contestant enters the competition podium with a model whose hair must be in one colour, straight all over the head before the start. Hair length is arbitrary, but all prior preparations are prohibited. Extension: In the prescribed time, the contestant has to perform hair extension and thickening, and create a fashionable hairstyle. Hair and equipment for extension the contestant uses streaks of hair and technical tools. Products: Trimming products are allowed, colouring sprays are prohibited. Tools: All tools for hair styling (e.g. dryers, straighteners, "hot rolls" etc.) are acceptable. The judges take into account: the effect of hair extension and thickening, and the ability to show different colour contrasts in the hair (number of used streaks) cutting skills and overall creativity of the final result, the overall image of the model, including clothes, make-up and hairstyle. Time: 75 minutesutes Scoring: a maximum of 30 points, minimum score depending on the number of participants. Disqualification in the case of non-compliance with these Regulations. 21 A contestant works on a model MEN'S HAIRDRESSING SENIOR Keep in mind that this is a Barbering Championship. You should keep a classic, masculine image or create a work inspired by the timeless masculine elegance. 1. Target group. Over 15 years of age. The competition is open to: - hairdressing school students - working barbers, men's or women's and men's hairdressers. One of the following documents must be presented: - apprenticeship or employment contract - other proof of education or work in the profession - journeyman's diploma - master's diploma - a certificate issued by the Chamber of Crafts, vocational school or workplace. People outside the industry must not take part in the contest. 2. Time: 50 minutes. 3. General rules. Hair: The model comes with dry hair. Hair length top of any length but not less than 5 cm. The sides and back should be 2 cm before cutting and clearly layered from the shortest to the longest hair. The contours of the neck, over the ears and on the chin must not be prepared in advance, marked or shaved. Hair extension is prohibited. Make-up is prohibited. Natural colour without dye. Colouring sprays are also prohibited. Competition on live models. Final look classic, traditional, in accordance with the hair styling canon appropriate for men's hairdressing, matched to the shape of the head and face. The sides and back of the head can be layered in 3 ways: - trimmed with scissors - cut with a trimmer - shaved with a razor to zero. Hair on the neck and neck contour must be layered in classic style. The top must be trimmed with scissors. Styling with a dryer and flat brush is mandatory. Beard: must be trimmed by at least half a centimetre. It should have a classic shape semi-circular, square, triangle, rectangle. Shaving the contour with a razor / shavette is welcome. Styling the beard and moustache is mandatory.

Allowed tools: scissors, hair clippers, combs, brushes, flat beard brushes, sprinkler, clipper, trimmer, contour trimmer, hair dryer, razor, shavette, shaving brush, bowl, towels, collars, coats, alum. 5. Prohibited tools: round brush, straightener, curler, waver, hair iron, rollers. 6. Allowed cosmetics. For hair: pomade, paste, wax, grooming spray, hairspray, talk. For beard and moustache: lotion, oil, conditioner, wax. For shaving: cream / soap, pre-shave product, face cream, aftershave. 8. Prohibited cosmetics. hair rubber, hair gel, colour spray, shaving foam/gel in aerosol, hair styling powder. The aim of the Polish Championship in Barbering is to select the Polish Champion in this category for, therefore, this must be a person who works best among all the contestants, including all points in the Regulations. Observance of all procedures in the Regulations will be supervised by the Inspection Commission which will grant penalty points for all failures and after evaluation will inform the Jury accordingly. The Jury will pay attention to the shade of hair, the exact contours, cleanliness of the whole work, finish between the hair and the beard, styling, general appearance, shape on each side of the head and clothes matched to the whole. 23 WOMEN'S-MEN'S COMPETITION JUNIOR/SENIOR New women's and men's contest: IMAGINATION-CLASS-STYLE (haircut and styling for magazine cover) 1. All age categories are accepted. 2. Contestants /hairdressers or stylists, or fashion designers, or make-up artists/stylists/ perform full styling on live male/female models. A. Hairstyle must show hairdressing mastery, imagination and creativity. - Interesting and professional colouring prepared in advance, - Different hair length is permissible, - Ornaments, pins, hairpieces (max. 30% of the whole head) are permissible. B. Make-up must be a professional, clear, artistic, match the whole styling. C. Clothing, dress, styling can be freely arranged but must match the competition. D.Work must be done entirely by the competitor. E. All hairdressing tools are allowed. 1. The competition must be performed on live male and female models (dressed rather than undressed). 2. The Jury assesses the general impression of the whole styling, excellence of execution, professionalism, colour. 3. Time: 5 minutesutes the contestants set the model in the randomly selected competition stand and make the final adjustments. 4. The Inspection Commission draws stand numbers, take the contestants to the competition stands and ensures regular course of the competition.
24 5. In the event of non-compliance with the Regulations, each member of the Jury has the right to grant up to 3 penalty points for every failure. 6. The participants and models consent to the use of their image and work done for the promotion, marketing and documentation of the Championship. 7. The participant declares that he/she is the author and holds copyright to haircuts/styling entered in the Championship within the meaning of the copyright law. 8. The participant takes part in the Championship at their own expense (materials, model, transport, accommodation, etc.). 9. Disqualification from the competition takes place in the case of changing the randomnly assigned stand (mirror) numbers.
