3 WHAT KIND OF WAX DO YOU USE? We use two different types of products. For women, and more sensitive areas of the body, we use a film wax that shrink wraps and hardens around the hair, lifting it from the skin, creating a less painful removal. For men, we use Nu Free that is specially formulated for men, and is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin types. Both products are specifically created for Hawaiian Holiday in order to give you the best waxing experience possible!

4 HOW LONG CAN I EXPECT MY WAXING TO LAST? If you ve allowed your hair to grow out to the proper length prior to waxing, you can expect to be hair-free for a minimum of 1-2 weeks following your appointment. HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY WAXING SERVICE? We recommend that you exfoliate the area several days prior to your appointment. Thoroughly cleanse the area to keep the skin moist, but not greasy from heavy lotions or oils.

5 HOW LONG DOES MY HAIR HAVE TO BE? Hair needs to be at least ¼ to ½ for effective waxing. For most people, this means waiting 2-4 weeks (minimum 2 weeks) from the last time you waxed.

6 CAN I TAN AND WAX IN THE SAME DAY? You can, however your skin may be more sensitive, causing an increased chance of sunburn. We recommend you wait 24 hours between tanning and waxing.

7 DOES WAXING HURT? Everyone s pain tolerance is different, but you can expect a short, stinging sensation. If you are worried about being sensitive, taking an ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment should minimize your discomfort (consult your physician before taking medications). However, continuous waxing causes finer and less hair. More waxing, less pain! WILL MY HAIR GROW BACK THICKER AND DARKER? No, waxing actually has the opposite effect. Hair that is removed at the roots grows finer and softer over time.
