2 Thank you for your purchase. Please read this user manual carefully, as it contains information that will make your shaving experience more enjoyable and to ensure safe use of this appliance. 3 Warning This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. They should not be allowed to do cleaning and maintenance 4 without proper supervision. The appliance is strictly for use with USB cable as provided; make sure a 5V 500mA power supply is used for recharging. Remove battery from the appliance before it is scrapped. Make sure appliance is switched off. Disconnect the appliance from main supply before removing the battery. Dispose battery safely. Note: This appliance is intended for household use only. Do not immerse the appliance 5

4 in water. Do not use the product while bathing or showering. Do not clean the appliance inside a dishwasher. If any part of the appliance is damaged or deformed, do not use it. It may cause harm to your body. When the appliance is not in use, keep the product in a safe place with the protection cap on to avoid dust building up. Ensure that the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the USB cable when cleaning it. Do not wrap the USB cable around the appliance. Do not use the appliance on wound or inflammatory area and allergic skin. Upon finding any damage on the appliance, ensure that you give it to professionals for proper fixing and maintenance. 6 7

5 Charging Process Before first use, the battery must be fully charged via the USB cable supplied. Charging time will take about 16 hours for DSX5100 / DSX5120 and about 5 hours for DSX5200 / DSX5220. With a fully charged battery, the product can work for about 45 minutes. If you experience a considerable decrease in shaving performance, switch off the product and recharge the battery. 1. Switch off the appliance completely by pressing the On/Off switch on the main body. Insert USB charging cable into the charging pins located at the bottom of the product and the other end to a suitable power supply of 5V 500mA. 2. The appliance will start charging with blue light ON until power supply is disconnected. 3. Once charging process is completed, disconnect power supply and remove USB cable from the appliance. 8 NOTE The charging process will only start when unit is completely switched off. If the product has not been used for a long period, please recharge the battery until it has been restored to full power status. Usage For best shaving performance, it is recommended to use your new shaver daily for up to four weeks to allow time for your beard and skin to become adapted to the new shaving system. Shaving 1. Make sure your shaver is properly charged. 2. Switch the shaver on. 3. Stretch the skin with your free hand so that the hairs/beard stand upright. 4. Only apply light pressure on the shaving head while shaving (pressing too hard can damage the heads and make them vulnerable to breakage). 5 Use short, circular strokes continuously to remove beard on the face. 9

6 Shaving with Gel 1. Follow the same instructions as above 2. CAUTION: After using the appliance with shaving gel, please rinse the head and cutters under warm water to clean away any excess gel and debris. Make sure the shaving head is removed from the main body before washing. 3. Place the trimmer at desired trim line for quick, easy, professional trim. 4. To retract the trimmer, push the trimmer down and lock into place. NOTE This shaver is for cordless use only. Do not press hard against the skin in order to avoid damage to the shaving heads. Please stop using the product if you are feeling uncomfortable during use. Pop-up Trimmer (only in DSX5120 / DSX5220) 1. Push the trimmer button to release the pop-up trimmer. Clean and Maintenance 1. Switch off the appliance. 2. Remove the shaving head from the main body. 2. Hold the trimmer at right angles to the skin

7 3. Tap out excess hair residues from the hair pocket. 4. Use clean water to rinse the hair residues inside shaving head. 5. Remove excess water after cleaning. Keep the shaving head open and allow it to dry completely. 6. Install back to the main body and store it in a dry place. NOTE To maintain good shaving performance and trimming comfort, make sure product is cleaned and maintained regularly after use. Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and remove USB cable to avoid electric shock hazards. Do not use compressed air, steel wire brushes, abrasive cleaning agent or corrosive liquids to clean the shaver head. Nor to use towel or paper to wipe the shaving head; it may damage the blade and the connecting shaft. Do not use hairdryer or heater to dry the appliance; it may deform the shaver head or cause mechanical failure. Do not expose the shaver to direct sunlight or in areas of high temperature. Do not immerse the main body in water 12 13

8 Environmental Protection This product contains a rechargeable battery pack; ensure to remove the battery before disposal. To help protect the environment when the product lifetime ends, it should be disposed separately from other household waste via the designated collection points for recycling by local authorities. Warranty Given the product is used and maintained in accordance with the information contained in this user manual, defects affecting product functionality will be corrected by replacement or repair within the guarantee period, all subject to DIXIX s final decision. Warranty service provided to part of or the entire product repair or replacement will only be granted within the warranty period. Defects repaired by an unauthorized dealer are not covered. Warranty period is for 2 years from the day of purchase. To get maintenance or repairing service, please bring the product with original invoice to our local or closer distributor or service station. 11 使用方法為了獲得最佳的剃鬚效果, 建議連續四星期每天使用剃鬚刀, 以便鬍鬚和皮膚能慢慢適應本產品修剪器 ( 適用於 DSX5120 / DSX5220) 1. 按下按鈕, 打開修剪器剃鬚方法 1. 確保剃鬚刀已充電 2. 開啓剃鬚刀 3. 用手繃緊皮膚鬍鬚立起 4. 剃鬚時, 不可用力按壓外刀頭否則會造成外刀頭破損而導致皮膚受傷 5. 並以短打圈重復的動作把鬍鬚剃掉可使用剃鬚膏 1. 請按照以上剃鬚指示方法使用 2. 注意 : 使用剃鬚膏後, 請用溫水沖洗刀頭, 清除多餘的剃鬚膏及殘留物清洗前確保剃鬚刀頭從主機上取下 2. 將刀面成直角貼在皮膚上 3. 將修剪器置於需要修剪的部位, 以快速方便及專業的手法修剪 4. 若要收回修剪器, 將修剪器向下按令其返回原有位置注意事項此剃鬚刀僅適用於無線使用不可用力按壓外刀頭否則會造成外刀頭破損而導致皮膚受傷如在使用產品過程中感到不適, 請立即停止使用 20 21
