2 good stuff inside White Tea White tea comes from the same plant as green tea except the leaves are young and they have been minimally processed. White tea helps release toxins from the skin leaving a brighter complexion. Tea Tree Oil Tea Tree Oil comes from an Australian paper bark tree and has antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral properties. It has been shown to reduce bacteria that can cause acne. Tea Tree oil also has been shown to reduce skin inflammation and is being used as a natural eczema treatment. Willow Bark Extract Witch Hazel Avocado Oil Willow Bark Extract is used in skin care products due to its astringent, soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. The salicylic acid found in the extract is a natural exfoliant which helps in cleaning pores and shedding old skin making way for fresh radiant skin! Tannins are also found in the extract which are rich in antioxidants and help reduce redness and inflammation in the skin. 2 Witch Hazel is a natural astringent derived from a plant. It has the ability to remove oil from the skin and reduce pore size. Regular use may prevent further blemishes and blackheads. Witch hazel has also been shown to reduce inflammation and discoloration. The anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects are also great for razor burn and post waxing. Avocado oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, and Vitamins A, D, and E which can provide deep moisture ideal for dry chapped hands and feet. Caffeine has antioxidant properties known to protect skin from damage from UV rays. It has also been shown in clinical trials to repair skin cellular DNA that has been damaged by over exposure to UV rays. In addition caffeine has been shown to minimize pore size and improve skin coloration. Green tea is processed from mature tea leaves and is high in antioxidants and polyphenols. The caffeine in combination with the antioxidants and polyphenols has been shown to firm and tighten the skin. 11 MARIE'S STORY I am Marie, a wife and mother employed in the medical device industry. For years I have been unimpressed with the results of skin care products from beauty salons, dermatologists, and drug stores. I researched long hours to find natural treatments for my irritated skin, as steroid creams were only partially effective. In my career I have conducted medical research for many years.
