POWDERED ENZYME DETERGENT MIXED WITH WATER IS THE PREFERRED PRODUCT. CUSTOMARY UPHOLSTERY SHAMPOO, WATER BASED CLEANING PRODUCTS AND MILD GERMICIDAL DETERGENTS MAY ALSO BE USED. 4. FOR STUBBORN STAINS A LIQUID SUCH AS RADIANT, MIXED WITH WATER, MAY BE APPLIED IN A GENTLE MANNER, USING A SOFT BRUSH IN A VERTICAL FASHION. DO NOT SCRUB 5. PLEASE MAKE CERTAIN THAT CLEANING PRODUCTS ARE COMPLETELY RINSED OFF THE FABRIC

Stubborn Stains To remove stubborn stains simply apply a 0.125% concentration of Sodium Hypochloride to the surface of the Zircon coated product. Please test a hidden area first. It is also recommended that following this treatment that the surface is wiped down with water to remove any excess residue. 2. Mould The best (and safest) method to remove the mould or stubborn stains is to use a solution of 1 part bleach (white king) to 10 parts water. 1. First, dampen the affected area with water, with a VERY small amount of detergent (just enough to get suds in the water). Apply to the area to be treated by dabbing with a dampened rag. This will prepare the surface of the fabric to accept the bleach solution, without drawing too much bleach solution into the fabric. 2. Second, apply the bleach solution by dabbing, onto the surface requiring treatment, and leave for a few minutes. Then wipe-off surface mould, being careful not to overly abrade the surface of the fabric, and change the nap of the surface. This should remove the bulk of the mould, and sterilize spores remaining in the pores of the fabric. 3. Third, apply the detergent/water solution (as used in step 1) to purge residual bleach solution from the fabric. I would recommend that this operation be performed at least twice, to ensure removal of bleach. 4. Fourth, dry the treated area, preferably with a hair dryer, being careful not to overheat the fabric, and attract localized shrinkage. Importantly, do not place in a sunny area to dry, as any trace of residual bleach in the fabric, which is sure to be there to some degree, can affect the color(s).
