3 Welcome to the first edition of the Marrakech World Aesthetic Congress! On behalf of the scientific directors, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to His Majesty The King MOHAMMED VI for having granted Royal Patronage to the Marrakech World Aesthetic Congress This testifies the special interest and care of His Majesty to the development of our specialty and to the innovative field of regenerative surgery and medicine in the Kingdom of Morocco. This first edition of the MWAC offers an exciting program given by internationally renowned specialists. Welcome to Marrakech World Aesthetic Congress The Congress board of directors along with eminent members of the ISPRES has organized a two days full immersion in the world of fat grafting. Thus, the latest aspects of micro fat grafting, Adipose Derived Stem Cells and stem cell therapy will be covered in all aspects. This will be one of the highlights of MWAC The intensive course on volumetric reshaping was designed in a new format in which each session consists of a «practical teaching course» exploring in detail a particular region of the face. Novel Artistic Concept of facial beauty and high definition anatomic video dissections will also be a highlight of MWAC The social program with the legendary Moroccan hospitality will make this congress an unforgettable event. 8 Scientific directors Marrakech World Aesthetic Congress Dr. FAHD BENSLIMANE Is an internationally recognized plastic surgeon based in Casablanca, Morocco who has focused his efforts to the creation of a novel discipline in aesthetic surgery and medicine: the artistic analysis of the face. His published «frame concept» for gaze rejuvenation is an established reference for facial beauty enhancement. Doctor Benslimane is the National Secretary of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). Dr. WAYNE CAREY Is a world-renowned professor in dermatology at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He is one of the world leaders in large volume facial injections of hyaluronic acid. His patented Tri- Site Bolus technique for restoration of midface volume loss is now a referenced technique for both plastic surgeons and dermatologists. He has been invited to speak and teach about his technique worldwide. Dr. FABIO INGALLINA Is a plastic surgeon from Italy, well known as an expert anatomist of the face. He is the main presenter of the majority of the dissections in the E2E group. Photographs of his meticulous dissections have been widely published and presented at many international meetings. Dr. Antoine PARASKEVAS Was trained in Plastic Surgery in Paris, France. He acquired additional training and diplomas in the United States especially in the fields of facial rejuvenation. He was for several years a senior surgeon within the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Henri Mondor University Hospital in Paris and his work contributed to the very first facial transplantation project realized in the Department by the team of Professor Laurent Lantieri. 14
