2 WHO IS COSWELL Coswell is a company specialized in the manufacturing and distribution of body care FMCGs and health food products, masstige and selective fragrances and skin care products for perfumeries. Coswell operates in a dynamic and professional way, and is able to provide innovative and high-quality products thanks to a dedicated R&D Dept and to the collaboration with private Research Laboratories and with the most important Italian Universities.

4 OUR HISTORY: the Sixties and the Seventies Guaber is founded in 1961 by Paolo Gualandi and Athos Bergamaschi. The first accountancy document, dated mid-march, states: Sales: , expenses: Revenue: 630 Lire!". Guaber enters the industry world. Gualandi and Bergamaschi foresee a brilliant future for personal hygiene products, that seem to have great prospects, so they equipped Guaber for the manufacturing of bath-foams, shampoos and deodorants. In these years the Company acquires its sales know how distributing Flex shampoo by Revlon Company
5 OUR HISTORY: our first successful brands From the application of marketing know-how the first succesfull brands are born: Antica Erboristeria, the first toiletry line based on natural active ingredients (transferred to Gillette in 1987), Grey wax (acquisition) and Vape the soon-to-be leading insecticide brand.
6 OUR HISTORY: the Eighties and the Nineties With Neutromed, a toiletry line characterized by ph 5,5 Guaber creates a segment that will remain unparalleled for years. Guaber strengthen its portfolio with the launch of Coloreria Italiana the first dyeing range to be used onto the washing machine and Drago antilimescale product. Eurocosmesi is established to manufacture and distribute fragrances pertaining to the most famous brands of the Italian style and art. Eurocosmesi launches the Swiss cosmetic brand Transvital in selected perfumeries all over the world.
7 OUR HISTORY: the Eighties and the Nineties The new Bionsen line is launched, based on Japanese SPA Minerals as the result of cosmetic and dermatological researches by Clinica Universitaria of Siena and the Center for Thermal Studies in Tokyo. The villa in Ozzano dell'emilia becomes the head office of Istituto Erboristico L'Angelica for farming, studying and using of medicinal herbs. Istituto Erboristico L Angelica creates the market of food supplement into the supermarkets and created the category of functional herbal teas.
8 OUR HISTORY: the years 2000 After a complete redecoration Hotel Cristallo in Cortina d'ampezzo (Belluno) opens and becomes the location for Transvital Swiss Beauty Center and Isokinetic (Sport Reconditioning Center). Guaber celebrates the first 40 years of activity launching L Acchiappacolore, a paper sheet that revolutionizes the way to wash the laundry in the washing machine. 5 subsidiaries are created in UK, Spain, Hungary, Russia and Germany. Guaber acquires Vim brand from Unilever, bringing back to Italy a brand of centenarian history and Blanx, the first and leading whitening toothpaste. Vape Foundation is established as an initiative by the Gualandi Family.
9 OUR HISTORY: the last years Guaber Spain takes over from Unilever the grant to use CIF brand. Guaber reached around 200M turnover and foresees stock exchange listing but in 2006 decision is to separate Guaber Coswell (personal care and well-being products) from Guaber Household (home care and plant care products). Guaber Household and Axa Private Equity sign an agreement for an Italian-French holding with branches all over Europe: Spotless Group. Coswell acquires PREP Company, a mono-brand Company, and Euritalia, a pharmaceutical Company. In December the production site is separated in a different company, INCOS.
10 OUR HISTORY: the last years Coswell develops and patents a new active ingredient that is able to repair tooth enamel and introduces the first and only enamel-repairing toothpaste in the world: Biorepair, creating a whole new category in the toothtpastes market. With this outstanding innovation it also drives Blanx toothpastes to international success. Coswell acquires Stomygen brand with the aim to become a leading player into the Professional Dentistry market.
11 INNOVATION: Research & Development Our company policy and strategies are addressed to an idea of continuous innovation and creativity. A Coswell product shall distinguish from the others by its characteristics of effectiveness, safety for the human health, quality and hygiene. Research and innovation at Coswell the research activity, along with a free and independent way of thinking, has realized intuitions that have then been successful on the market and that are mainly based on the product innovation.

29 PLANT EXTRACTS FOR FOOD AND COSMETIC USE With the brand Angelica, INCOS produces in its own plant a large variety of herbal extracts. There are more than 400 types of natural and organic extracts.

That s why our staff always researches and studies the scientific literature on raw materials and their biological activity. RAW MATERIALS We look for the first-rate dry herbs for origin, safety and quality.
