It was created for you to take some time to relax, rebalance and refocus. Enjoy the full Elysia Spa experience by relaxing in our spacious lounge before or after your treatments and take advantage of our complimentary steam room and spa bath. 3 How to spa Make a booking To avoid disappointment, we recommend securing your booking at least 7 days prior to your requested time. To book an appointment please phone or if you are staying in house please dial extension #202 on your room phone or visit the Spa / Spa Reception during your stay. We are open seven days a week, including public holidays (closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Please note a 15% surcharge applies on public holidays. Please let us know in advance if you have any special health or physical considerations that may affect your treatments at the spa. Please also advise us of pregnancy under 14 weeks as some treatments may not be suitable. Minimum age for spa guests is 16. When to arrive To enjoy the full experience of your treatments, we suggest you arrive for your treatment 30 minutes prior to the scheduled treatment time. This will also allow you time to relax in the lounge and complete our consultation form. If you would like to enjoy our complimentary Spa and Steam room please arrive 1 hour prior to the scheduled treatment time. All treatments are completed as scheduled, so please be aware that if you arrive late, your service will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. What to wear Please wear comfortable clothing and open toed footwear to the spa. We will provide a robe and locker for you plus a range of amenities. Please bring your swimwear if you intend on using the spa baths. We suggest that you do not bring valuables and jewellery. Our therapists are trained to drape you and protect your privacy at all times. During treatments underwear is to be worn at all times. Spa etiquette Our Spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquility. Please leave your mobile phone or other technological devices off and in your locker. We do not permit the use of mobile phones within the Spa area or within the premises of Elysia. Golden Door Elysia Health Retreat and Spa is a non-smoking area and we ask that no food or caffeine is to be consumed whilst on the premises. Alcohol or non-prescription drugs must not be taken prior to your spa treatment. Guests under the influence will be asked to leave the spa in the best interests of their health. Cancellation/postponement If you wish to change or cancel your appointment, please contact us with at least 24 hours notice. Reservations may be amended or canceled up to 24 hours in advance without charge. A 100% cancellation charge applies for no shows and appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice. Your treatment begins with a Swedish massage to unwind, reduce stress and stimulate circulation. Your skin will then be treated to a customised facial a la carte to address your specific needs. To complete your experience, your feet will be treated to a luxurious Pedi Spa including foot bath, exfoliation, mask and soothing massage, leaving you feeling rejuvenated, recharged and revitalised.
