2 About INOVA Based in Northern Virginia, Inova is a not-for-profit healthcare system, governed by a volunteer board of community members. Inova has grown from one hospital in 1956 to a nationally recognized system of hospitals, outpatient services and facilities, primary and specialty care physician practices, and health and wellness initiatives. There are 5 hospitals, which encompass the full spectrum of healthcare services, including the area s single Level 1 trauma center and Level IV neonatal intensive care unit.

5 Hospitals 1. Inova Alexandria Hospital 4320 Seminary Rd., Alexandria, VA bed community hospital specializing in cancer services, cardiovascular and interventional radiology, maternity services, surgical services, and diagnostic imaging 2. Inova Fairfax Hospital 3300 Gallows Rd., Falls Church, VA Named the best hospital in the DC area, and contains the only Level 1 trauma center in Northern Virginia. On the same campus, you can find Inova Women s Hospital, Inova Children s hospital and Inova Heart and Vascular Institute. Inova Fairfax is also a teaching facility, partnering with many medical, nursing, and pharmacy schools around Virginia. 3. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital 3600 Joseph Siewick Dr., Fairfax, VA A 182-bed acute care community hospital. Their signature services include Inova Spine Program, Inova Weight Loss Services and Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery, joint replacement, maternity services, minimally invasive gynecology, Inova Breast Cancer Program, diagnostic imagic, and Inova Comprehensive Cancer and Reasearch Institute.

11 Payment for Services INOVA is a not-for-profit organization that provides quality healthcare regardless of a patient s ability to pay. They offer a variety of financial assistance options. INOVA will verify insurance benefits and file claims with your insurance company, however the patient is responsible for understanding their own insurance benefits and requirements.
