The Company earned a reputa on as a highly respected supplier to the professional hair care industry in South Africa. In 1994, Select Hairdressing Supplies was taken over by new ownership with significant research & development facili es and exper se. An impressive new range of hair cosme cs was developed by a team of highly experienced chemists at the Company's local cosme c research laboratories, leading to the launch of the highly successful Select and Kimisa brands. Select Hairdressing Supplies also supplies the renowned Carin brand of products from Belgium which includes the brand leading Color Intensivo permanent oxida on nts. In 2012, the company moved to a new head office with climate controlled warehousing in Factoria, Krugersdorp. In 2015, Select opened an online store that now sells many of the company's professional retail hair cosme cs directly to the public saw the launch of the highly successful Erayba CoolColor semi permanent nts.
