3 Welcome to Salon Central Our training salons are fully equipped with the latest technology and leading product ranges. Our student therapists offer a comprehensive range of beauty treatments to suit all clients. Treatments are closely monitored by experienced and professional lecturers. We hope you enjoy your experience with us! Terms and Conditions - Important Information We respectfully ask clients to remember that all treatments are performed in a training environment thus the time taken will be longer. Clients are therefore requested not to pressurise students and to be understanding when some may take longer than others. Clients may be required to stay for the whole session. Our treatments are subject to change throughout the year, please consult the reception team for availability. For all beauty tinting services a skin test is required 48 hours before a treatment can be carried out. Notification of cancellation is required 48 hours prior to appointment. Clients who do not show will be charged 5.00 per missed appointment and repeat offenders will be required to pay a deposit on booking. We regret that we are unable to perform beauty treatments on anyone under 14 years of age. Beauty clients under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Using our Kaeso product range, your therapist will provide you with a luxury relaxing facial. Dermalogica Facial 75 mins 17 A professional treatment including skin analysis, cleansing, exfoliating and steaming, plus a face neck and shoulder massage. Using our Dermalogica product range, your therapist will map your skin to provide you with a personalised facial. We have a range of Dermalogical retail products including gift sets that can be purchased after your treatment. Spa Find Facial 75 mins 17 A professional treatment including skin analysis, cleansing, exfoliating and steaming, plus a face neck and shoulder massage. Using our Spa Find product range, your therapist will map your skin to provide you with a personalised facial. We have a range of Spa Find retail products including gift sets that can be purchased after your treatment.

7 LEVEL THREE SERVICES These Level 3 services are only available at Salon Central Wheeler Gate. LEVEL THREE FACIALS DURATION PRICE Vacuum Suction Facial 60 mins 18 A popular method of carrying out lymphatic drainage is by using a vacuum suction machine. Vacuum suction is a gentle treatment that stimulates the lymphatic system and aids the removal of waste products, draining lymph from the tissues and improving the colour and appearance of the skin tissues. High Frequency Facial 60 mins 18 High frequency can be used on the face or body (usually the back) to improve the skin s condition. There are two kinds of high frequency treatment, indirect high frequency and direct high frequency. INDIRECT HIGH FREQUENCY During an indirect high frequency treatment the client holds a glass saturator electrode to channel the current whilst the therapist performs a massage routine. This treatment can help improve mature, dehydrated skin conditions, improve tired skin and improve the colour of the skin by stimulating the circulation while inducing relaxation. DIRECT HIGH FREQUENCY During a direct high frequency treatment a glass electrode is applied directly to the skin in the treatment area. This treatment is ideal for improving oily congested skin, improving skin healing due to germicidal effect, and improving blemished or pustular skin. Galvanic Facial 60 mins 20 This treatment is a popular facial treatment in the beauty industry, which uses active watersoluble substances, such as gels, serums or creams that are either positively or negatively charged to deep cleanse the skin tissues. Either a positive or negative electrode is used on the face; these can be in the form of metal rollers, a metal ball electrode or a metal microphonetype attachment with a damp sponge on the end, depending on the make of the equipment. The electrode drives the products deep into the skin tissues to deep cleanse, emulsifying sebum (the skins natural oil) and softening blockages for further treatment. Micro-current Facial (nonsurgical face lift) 60 mins 20 A micro-current facial improves the appearance of sagging facial muscles. It firms and lifts the muscle myofibrils and improves muscle functioning while improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and creases. The texture and colour of the skin are improved through better circulation and lymph drainage reduces puffiness. The treatment is preventative measure to slow down the aging process of the skin tissue. It is also effective on softening scar tissue, promoting relaxation, tightening and reducing pores and cleansing and rebalancing the skins moisture levels.

8 LEVEL THREE SERVICES CONTINUED These Level 3 services are only available at Salon Central Wheeler Gate. Microdermabrasion Facial 60 mins 25 Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliating, or skin-peeling, treatment. The treatment can be applied to the face, neck, chest, back, hands and over areas of scar tissue. There are two forms of microdermabrasion treatment: DIAMOND MICRODERMABRASION Diamond microdermabrasion is a newer procedure that is becoming more popular, as no loose crystals or abrasives are released into the environment. Instead of using crystals to exfoliate the skin, a hand piece encrusted with diamond or other particles (e.g. silicon carbide) is passed over the skin. The diamond tip abrades the skin similar to the crystal version. CRYSTAL MICRODERMABRASION Crystal microdermabrasion is the most widely used. It is a mechanical exfoliating treatment where a controlled, high-speed flow of micro aluminium oxide crystals is applied under pressure, over the skin s surface. *Please note we only have one crystal microdermabrasion machine. LEVEL THREE BODY TREATMENTS DURATION PRICE Swedish Full Body Massage 60 mins 15 Swedish Back Massage 30 mins 10 Swedish massage uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to relieve stress; leaving you relaxed and rejuvenated. Pre Blended Aromatherapy Full Body Massage 90 mins 15 Pre Blended Aromatherapy Back Massage 45 mins 10 These treatments combine the benefits of massage with the therapeutic essential oils, the holistic treatment promotes a sense of wellbeing. Hot Stone Full Body Massage (*available Jan 2018) 60 mins 15 Hot Stone Back Massage 60 mins 10 This unique therapy uses heated basalt and semi precious chakra crystals. This is deeply soothing and helps to release tight muscles and relax the body. Inch Loss Wrap 75 mins 18 A contouring gel is applied to areas requiring cellulite reduction and contour wrap bandages are applied to the body. You will then relax in a warm, tranquil environment before bandages are removed to reveal soft, smooth skin. Your therapist will then measure you and record any areas of inch loss.

9 Galvanic Body Treatment 30 mins 12 The purpose of a galvanic body treatment is to introduce active substances into the tissues to increase fluid loss and mobilise fatty tissue. The treatment has a diuretic effect which can increase lymphatic flow & assist during a weight-loss programme. It also improves the appearance of cellulite by dispersing fatty deposits; improves blood circulation and aids the removal of toxins & waste products. Vacuum Suction Body Treatment 45 mins 12 Performed using a ventouse which is applied to the skin with a straight gliding manner towards the lymph nodes. Benefits of the treatment include; aiding the flow of waste products, improving the appearance and tone of the skin, and reducing fine lines. It also improves fluid drainage and reduces fluid retention, plus, increases circulation and mobilises fatty deposits. Faradic Body Treatment? 12 Faradic treatment causes stimulation of the muscles to help tone & strengthen them. The application of the treatment is using an electrical current to stimulate the motor nerves causing a gradual contraction in the muscles. The treatment helps to improve the colour of the skin. G5 Body Treatment 45 mins 12 Mechanical massage is the manipulation of the body tissues using a gyratory vibration machine called a G5. This kind of massage works deeper into the muscles and is ideal for bulky areas of adipose tissue or define muscle mass. It can be used in conjunction with other treatments to relive muscle tensions & muscle pain, to stimulate circulation & improve certain skin conditions. Microdermabrasion Body Treatment 30 mins 12 Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation of the skin using micro-crystals for safe and controlling skin resurfacing. Dead skin cells are removed, improving skin texture and smoothing away irregularities. Regular treatments will result in firmer, more rejuvenated skin, also helping to reduce the appearance of scar tissue and stretch marks. Infra-red Body Treatment? 4 An Infra-red lamp provides deep heat from infra-red rays. It can be used as a pre-heat treatment before other body treatments such as body massage. Infra-red enhances the treatment by; increasing the body temperature, softening the muscle tissues & relaxing the muscles, soothing & calming effect on the nerve ending. *Please note this service is only available with either a Swedish body or back massage. Detox Body Wrap Treatment 60 mins 18 Your skin will be exfoliated using a combination of body brushing and a granular scrub. Your skin will be detoxified and nourished with a purifying seaweed and mineral mud while sealed in a warm, relaxing wrap. Infused with aromatic botanical extracts and fruit enzymes, this treatment will leave your skin feeling smooth and supple.
