EN Snare Endovascular Snare System For the surgical treatment of the heartworm caval syndrome The heartworm caval syndrome is a life-threatening manifestation of canine heartworm disease.

A large number of adult heartworms in the great vessels in or around the heart led to severe pulomary hypertension. The patient requires immediate surgery with the most common procedure being the tranvenous heartworm extraction. The EN Snare endovascular system is intended for use in the jugular vein. It consists of three interlocking loops. The EN Snare is designed to expand to vessel wall size for retrieval of hard to get side-walled objects.
