1 2016 Post-Show Report The only Asia Pacific exhibition exclusively dedicated to personal care ingredients Bangkok 8-10 November 2016 Organised by: Supported by:
2 Revitalised in-cosmetics Asia at an all-time high Asia-Pacific cosmetic manufacturers flocked to Bangkok as the show attracted a record high of 8,782 unique visitors - an increase of 17% on Among the attendees were senior scientists and R&D representatives from the likes of Amore Pacific, Amway, Beiersdorf, Coty, Procter & Gamble, Rohto Pharmaceutical and Unilever. International (non-thai) visitor numbers were also up by 18% vs last year, and represented 34% of the total attendee figure. Over the three days, 2,951 visitors travelled from 76 non-thai countries, including Malaysia, South Korea, China, the Philippines, India, Indonesia and Japan. The event was focussed on doing business and creating new partners and networks. This year s event had the R&D cosmetic manufacturing community at its heart. The new Spotlight On feature focused on the hottest cosmetic trends, such as anti-pollution and halal, while the essential, centrally-located Innovation Zone showcased 41 newly launched ingredients. 14 out of the 15 experts presenting marketing trend sessions were new giving fresh perspectives on existing and emerging trends. in-cosmetics Asia 2017 will mark the event s 10th anniversary and will take place at BITEC, Bangkok from 31 October-2 November Key Statistics (audited) Unique visitor attendance: 8,782 Day 1: 4,469 Day 2: 3,064 Day 3: 1,249 Total (including re-visits): 12,395 Local (Thai) visitors 66% International visitors 34% First-Time Visitors This was my first visit and it has definitely lived up to my expectations. I found new suppliers, a very good range of seminars and I have come across new ideas for my products. I was also pleased to see that all the big companies are present here and were very well prepared to receive visitors.
