3 QUICK, EASY AND NATURAL: THE MODERN WAY TO CARE FOR YOUR FLOOR. Taking good care of your floor is really easy! Taking good care of your floor maintains its value and beauty, but is also important to ensure correct care and to fulfill warranty requirements. Nowadays, perfect floor care today is not rocket science: This is especially true for HARO floor coverings, which are very fast, simple and easy to maintain thanks to their high-quality surfaces. Dry cleaning with a broom, dust mop or vacuum cleaner is generally all that is necessary. To remove ingrained dirt or to provide added surface protection, simply give your floor covering a damp wipe with the recommended cleaning agent. Done! To maintain the floor's quality and appearance, we recommend using felt or Teflon gliders on furniture, polycarbonate mats for office roller chairs as well as doormats in entrances. A constant room temperature is also important not only for your personal well-being, but also for your floor: 20 C (68 F) at a relative air humidity of 30 to 60% is ideal for wood floors. Naturally, optimal maintenance of the floor right from the start is just as important. Especially if you have a high-quality floor covering like parquet, laminate or cork, you should rely on specifically designed care and cleaning products from floor specialists such as HARO. The level of care required for floor coverings in commercial applications depends on the wear and tear they are exposed to. The specific conditions on site should be assessed in consultation with the installer or HARO dealer. Our advice: For regular dry cleaning of the HARO floor coverings, we recommend vacuum cleaners from Kärcher (e.g. VC 6300 with parquet nozzle). 3

Heel streaks or grease stains can also be easily removed with clean & green active. Simply add 1/2 a dose of clean & green to 5 litres (1.3 gal.) of cold water. Dip the mop in the cleaning solution, wring it out thoroughly and wipe the surface with the damp cloth. 8 clean & green EASY, NATURAL FLOOR CARE AQUA OIL aqua oil the easy intensive care for oiled parquet surfaces 2 With aqua oil, oiled parquet floors are now easier than ever to maintain so that anyone can do it without a floor polishing machine or professional assistance. The natural oil based on raw materials such as linseed oil is 100 % free of solvents. OUR ADVICE: We recommend using clean & green aqua oil black for refreshing/touching up the surface finish of very dark oiled parquet subject to wear and tear. For white oiled parquet, we recommend clean & green aqua oil white. aqua oil Parquet Care Instructions Before the application of aqua oil, clean the floor thoroughly (preferably using clean & green active) and make sure it is dust-free. Then apply aqua oil with the "Wischwiesel" flat wet mop: Its special mop head and width are ideal for the application of the parquet care product. Shake aqua oil well before use and pour into a suitable bucket. Apply the undiluted aqua oil with the 'Wischwiesel' flat wet mop. Always go with the direction of the wood grain and work in parallel overlapping passes. The floor can be walked on again after around two hours. OUR ADVICE: Intensive care of heavy brushed oiled parquet is just as easy as maintaining any other oiled parquet floor. You simply need to replace the "Wischwiesel" mop head with the deep pile mop head, which allows the oil to be applied deeply into the texture. 8

10 clean & green EASY, NATURAL FLOOR CARE AQUA SHIELD aqua shield the beauty treatment for varnished and coated surfaces clean & green aqua shield is designed for refreshing varnished parquet floors and coated surfaces such as laminate floors or design floors. First signs of wear and tear or micro scratches can be removed by a treatment with aqua shield. With clean & green aqua shield the floor shows its full beauty again. Additionally, the durability of the surface is improved and the floor is protected from moisture penetrating from above. aqua shield Floor Care for prefinished parquet floors and coated surfaces Instructions As with the remainder of the care series, clean & green aqua shield is quick and easy to apply, both for professional installers and for consumers. First, clean the surface and remove any dust using a broom or vacuum cleaner. To remove dirt particles, it is best to use clean & green active. When the floor has dried completely, apply aqua shield undiluted with the 'Wischwiesel' flat wet-mop. Shake aqua shield well before use and pour it into a suitable bucket. Apply always with the direction of the wood grain and work in parallel overlapping passes. One application is enough! The floor can be walked on again after around two hours. 10

11 SPECIAL CARE PRODUCT FOR HARO SPA PARQUET IN BATHROOMS HARO Spa Oil natura for parquet installed in bathrooms For excellent results and special protection, use Spa Oil natura (which dries by oxidation) for the initial treatment of parquet flooring in bathrooms. Using a solvent-resistant vanish roller, apply the oil generously and evenly to the dry surface (60-70 ml/m2). To ensure an even distribution, move the roller once across the grain and then repeatedly back and forth in the direction of the grain. Offset the varnish roller by 3 4 of the roller width and repeat the process. Let the floor dry for approx. 8 to 12 hours. 2nd coat: Buff the dry surface with a green Superpad and apply the oil again. 11

12 HARO SPECIAL CARE PRODUCTS FOR THE PERFECT CARE OF OILED PARQUET FLOORS HARO naturalin Oil for parquet floors with naturalin plus natural oil surface finish Additional initial treatmend and intensive care with a polishing machine carried out with professional assistance. The oil is absorbed thoroughly into the wood pores and deeply impregnates the floor, giving it a unique natural look. This is how HARO naturalin Oil is applied: Following the installation of your parquet floor with naturalin plus natural oil finish, initial treatment with naturalin Oil is recommended. naturalin Oil is a care finish that forms an additional film and thus provides the basis for regular cleaning and care. Apply the oil thinly and evenly with a spray bottle and then polish the surface in sections, using a floor polishing machine (at least 30 kg) and a beige superpad. The drying time is approx. 12 hours OUR ADVICE: For parquet flooring with white naturalin plus natural oil finish, use the naturalin Oil white intensive care product. This natural oil dries by oxidation, deeply impregnates the floor and gives it a unique and natural look. 12

13 HARO SPECIAL CARE PRODUCT FOR PARQUET FLOORS WITH OIL/WAX FINISH HARO Oil Balm for Parquet Floors with biotec-oil/wax finish HARO Oil Balm is a specially formulated floor care product for repair work and for the intensive care of biotec oil/wax-finished HARO Parquet subject to a high level of wear and tear. HARO Oil Balm is also suitable for the surface treatment of sanded, unfinished parquet. This is how HARO Oil Balm is applied: Mix HARO Oil Balm well and pour it into a suitable spray bottle. Spray the Oil Balm thinly onto patches of the parquet floor (approx. 7 ml/m 2 ), spread it evenly, and rub it in by means of a floor polishing machine and a white pad. In the areas around the corners, the oil balm should be applied with a HARO cloth. Allow the treated parquet to dry for at least 8-10 hours. Once dry, you can buff the entire surface with a HARO Polishing Cloth. Wait 24 hours before subjecting the floor to light traffic and loads, and 3 days before full use of the floor surface. Subsequently, the parquet area should be cleaned damp and maintained with the Parquet Cleaner clean & green natural. OUR ADVICE: For repair work and the intensive care of white HARO Parquet with biotec oil/wax-finish, use Oil Balm white. 13

14 CARE OF HARO PARQUET WITH PERMADUR FINISH The natural matt finish The permadur finish gives your HARO Parquet a natural matt surface and makes your floor particularly durable and easy to maintain. 14
