2 Welcome to Devon Nail & Beauty Training Centre & Approved OPI training academy, we offer a wide range of beauty courses. If you are wanting to start a career in the beauty industry or simply wanting to update your skills, we have the course for you. All our courses are small and intimate, our educator has 20 year experience in the beauty industry, so she has a wealth of knowledge to share. We are situated on the Devon and Cornwall border and are an Accredited GTi Training School. We presently offer a large variety of beauty courses, along with several Business Courses. Theory is undertaken online, followed by practical training here in Devon. Courses are accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists. We offer a range of the most popular beauty and nail courses that combine online and practical learning, allowing you to study at a time and place that suits you. 3 Lash & Brow Treatments 114 Kit 55 This course covers the technique for eyebrow shaping, eyelash tinting, eyebrow tinting, the application of strip lashes and the application of flare lashes. It also includes fantastic anatomy & physiology resources with clear diagrams and voice over. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as conra-indications to treatment. Photographs and videos ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform all of these lash and brow treatments. Semi-Permanent, Individual Eyelash Extensions 234 Kit This course covers the technique for eyelash extension application for both individual and flare. We also cover the removal and maintenance of lashes. The course includes anatomy and physiology of the hair and eye, contra-indications and contra-actions to treatment. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment. Threading 114 Kit 25 This course covers how to give a full Threading treatment and covers the history, and technique of the treatment. It also includes detailed technique modules which show you how to carry out a Threading treatment. The course also shows you how to adapt your treatment to suit varying clients needs. Resources with clear diagrams, images, and voice over are included to give you the best possible learning experience. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contraindications to treatment. The course includes online theory as well as a practical training session at a location of your choice, designed to give you the confidence and ability to offer a full threading treatment.

4 Waxing Course 294 Kit 70 Waxing is an excellent addition to any treatment menu and provides repeat business as it is an essential maintenence option for many clients. This course covers leg waxing, bikini, abdomen, underarm, facial, forearm and male waxing. This Course meets the Habia National Occupational Standards and covers the various types of hair removal, anatomy and physiology, skin disorders and diseases, contra-actions and contra-indications, reception, consultation, ventilation, technique, and aftercare. Spray Tanning 114 Providing a spray tanning treatment is a simple way to give clients a safe alternative to a UV tan. This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional spray tanning treatment and includes a practical training session and assessment. This GTi Spray Tanning course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy & physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin types, preparing for treatment, technique and aftercare. Facial Treatment Course 294 Performing a facial treatment is an opportunity for you to give your client a relaxing and enjoyable treatment designed to improve and rejuvenate their skin. This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional facial and includes a practical training session and assessment. The GTi Facial Treatment course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy and physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, skin analysis, preparation, skin types and product selection, preparing for treatment, technique and aftercare.

5 Body Massage Treatment 294 Performing a Body Massage treatment is an opportunity for you to give your client a relaxing and enjoyable treatment designed to encourage a feeling of well being. This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional full body massage and includes a practical training session and assessment. This GTi Body Massage course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy and physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, preparing for treatment, massage techniques and a full body massage routine. Indian Head Massage Course 234 This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional Indian head massage and includes a practical training session and assessment.this GTi Indian Head Massage course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers all the necessary anatomy & physiology, plus reception, consultation, aftercare guidance and contra-indications to treatment. This course covers the technique for upper back, shoulder, upper arm, neck, scalp and face massage. It also includes the theory behind Indian Head Massage such as the history of the treatment, principles of ayurveda, marma points and chakras. Make-Up 234 This course covers the application of make-up to the face, eyes and lips as well as how to perform a facial cleanse and apply strip lashes. The course also shows you how to adapt your treatment to suit varying clients needs. Resources with clear diagrams, images, video clips and voice over are included to give you the best possible learning experience. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment.
