2 The product: dermofeel sensolv This naturally derived polar ester oil shows an excellent capacity for dissolving UV-filters and dispersing pigments. Furthermore, it has a very pleasant, velvety skin feel and hair conditioning properties. dermofeel sensolv is therefore the natural alternative for silicones in skin and hair care. 3 How to work with dermofeel sensolv Manufacturing procedure Can be used as a basic emollient in conventional and natural cosmetic concepts. Just add to the oil phase. For aqueous based products Up to 1 % can be incorporated clearly with help of solubilizer, e.g. symbio solv clear. Hair care Suitable for rinse-off conditioners and hair masks, or leave-on products. Also for conditioning shampoos: up to 2 % can be incorporated clearly in formulations (depending on total amount and composition of surfactant base). No built up on hair. Excellent natural conditioner with silicone-like properties. Note: Hydrolysis of dermofeel sensolv may influence the odor of your formulation. After addition of dermofeel sensolv, we recommend to work at ph levels > 5 and < 7 during all production steps.
