2 1.618 FIRST EDITION The first edition of Sustainable Luxury Fair 2009 has been a great success despite a difficult economic context. The new Luxury values and the will to get to a better consumption found their showcase within the Palais de Tokyo, from May, 14th to 17th. 30 exhibitors / 5000 visitors / 2300 professionnals / 700 journalists 440 media clippings from France & International ( TV - radios written press - Internet) A noteworthy carbon footprint (40 tons of CO2) An appointment confirmed for the second edition for Spring 2010

7 DETAILLED VISITORSHIP The general public Simple onlookers, insiders or convinced people, the fair welcomed around 2000 visitors along the 3 days. The public was essentially composed of French visitors with an appreciable part of foreigners. 8 A NOTEWORTHY CARBON FOOTPRINT (realised by PWC) 40 tons of CO2 emitted (ie 15 kg /m2) Main points of the event s eco-conception :. Creation of reusable and recyclable paper booth. Restriction of energy use (low voltage lights, no generator). Advice to exhibitors. Dematerialized set based on virtual imaging. Work on the reduction of energies and wastes. Transparency of the process. Communication tools all printed on recycled and recyclable paper with vegetal ink and glaze. Partnership with green cabs. Creation of a production agency specialised in the eco-conception of luxury events: Productions The details of the result and the forecasted compensation will be soon announced to the press.
