2 Who We Are THE LEVEE ART GALLERY & STUDIOS is located in the heart of Maitland Art Precinct Our aim is to provide a new and vibrant exhibition location for artists within a high quality space. The Levee Art Gallery & Studios is housed in a Historical Victorian Commercial Building comprising 300m2 of creative space in the heart of the city of MAITLAND & creates a destination where visitors and locals can experience the beauty of heritage with the mix of contemporary design, food and style.

3 What we offer OPENING HOURS Wednesday to Friday 10:00 am 4:00 pm Saturday 10:00 2:00 pm Closed Sunday Monday Tuesday unless prior appointment (These are the standard Gallery opening hours, other days and longer hours for rental shows are permissible, by negotiation with the gallery prior to opening of exhibition) THE LEVEE ART GALLERY seeks proposals for solo and group exhibitions considered, from emerging and established artists who require minimal assistance. The artists are expected to be organised and be able to manage their own promotion, mailing lists, install and gallery minding. You can contact one of our team members by on: INSURANCE COVER The gallery is covered for public liability but insurance for your own artworks is the responsibility of the artist. INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL OF EXHIBITION GUIDELINES Exhibitions usually run from Tuesday to Sunday, with openings generally held on Thursday evening or Saturday Daytime, and you have the option of opening from for the entire period of your venue hire Hanging will be completed in consultation with gallery management on a Monday prior to opening. The exhibition should vacate from the exhibition space on Sunday evening before 7pm FEE STRUCTURE Exclusive rental of Gallery #2 is $450 per with a recommended rental period of two weeks.* see floor plan 25% Commission (plus GST) applies to any before or after exhibition sales secured by management. Cost of gallery hire One week $450 ex gst Two weeks $1000pw ex gst (save $100) A deposit of 50% is payable on receipt of invoice, this non refundable deposit will confirm your booking. The balance is payable two months before rental start date.

4 The basic cost of gallery hire includes the following: Promotion on THE LEVEE Art Gallery website and social media platform. Promotion in local publications Newsletter sent to THE LEVEE ART gallery mailing list Gallery staff, some assistance with hanging and dismantling of your show. Basic tools, ladder, etc. Curatorial and some assistance. Fully designed Exhibition Event on the gallery website. Online store facility for the duration of exhibition plus 12 months after exhibition closes. Bulk mail out to gallery mailing list. (approx 1000.) Handling of sales and /or deposits with cc facilities. Optional Extras Design of print invitation and printing $250 Purchase and handling of opening night beverages 24 bottles of mixed wine, 1x(24)case beer, 6x1.5L sparkling mineral water. $300. Support Material For group exhibitions, please note the first two items are required for each participant: 2-3 images representative of the work to be exhibited. Upon confirmation and deposit payment, a Dropbox folder will be created to upload your files Artist BIO & Image After full payment, a form in word document will be sent to create your website page as well as the labels for your show
