We enjoy the winter scenery in Brixen while learning the basics of snowshoe hiking. Elevation gain is low and walking time short. 2 10.00 a.m. Metting point: a.m. at the top station of Gondelbahn Hochbrixen p.m. Our hike takes us through a dreamy winter landscape to a traditional, cosy alpine inn, where we get warm and enjoy some refreshments. Afterwards we head on toboggans on the prepared toboggan route back into the valley. Walking time around 2 1/2 hours, with 400 metres altitude. Also suitable for children from the age of 6. Registration: by Tuesday, 06:00 p.m. in the tourist information office Meeting point: Brixen tourist information office Cost: EUR (Rental fee snowshoes and toboggan) a.m. Enthusiastic early risers get to enjoy the fun first on the SkiWelt s slopes. From 1 February, every Thursday, SkiWelt Brixen and SkiWelt Westendorf will both be offering their early bird deal on selected lifts in Brixen im Thale and Westendorf: 22 kilometres of freshly groomed runs invite you to enjoy skiing at sunrise. The following lifts will open their doors from 7.30am: SkiWeltbahn, Sonnenlift, Choralmbahn and Alpenrosenbahn 1 & 2.

It would be beneficial if you brought your own drink bottle, clothes to change into and, if requird, a snack. Our torches show us the way and add to the romantic ambience. After some refreshments we toboggan back into the valley.
