1 What is the weirdest scar you have and how did you get it? 1. Weight room at Haven high school on my right lower calf 2. Police had thought I broke into my own house when I was 16. I had gone to bed and about 2:30 in the morning was awoken by police officers who were in my bedroom with their hands on their weapons. After questioning, they found out I had come back early from being out of town and that everything was ok. 3. Above my right eye on the upper eye-lid I have a scar from having chicken pox. A fairly large indentation. 4. On my left index finger. I cut off the fleshy part of the ball of my finger as a child, trying to cut a piece of lead with my mom s sewing scissors. 5. I have a scar on the top of my middle finger that I got when I was 6 years old. I was riding on the bottom of the shopping cart. My mom told me I needed to get out or I was going to get hurt. When I went to pull myself out my sister pushed the cart forward and ran my finger up into the wheel. Still remember it to this day. Eww! 6. A third degree burn, that I didn t initially know was a third degree burn from pulling out a banana chip bread from the oven that was cooked in a stone loaf pan. My scar looks like an M with dots in it 7. I have a scar on my leg from about 7 years ago that I have no idea where it came from. I happened to look down at my leg and saw a bunch of blood and now I have a scar that s about 6 inches long. 8. I have a scar under my right eye from running into a mailbox when I was a kid, about 8 or 9. We were playing Marco Polo out of the water and I went straight for the mailbox. Don t have that many scars but my most noticeable one is one I got when I was 5. I had chickenpox and I have scar in the crease of my elbow from scratching. 11. I have a scar on my 2 nd toe from a beer tab that was loose on the floorboard of our truck. I was about 15 and I was wrestling around with my cousin when I realized I was cut!! It is in the shape of a small X!! lol No, we were not seat-belted in. I m lucky that s all I got! 13. On the top of my foot, happened when a wine glass fell out of the hanging wine glass holder, hit the cabinet, breaking and then falling Off the cabinet, stabbing my foot. 14. I have a scar on my left hand below my thumb. I somehow ran into the side of a door and scraped the skin in that area, which left a scar. 15. This isn t a weird scar but it is my only scar. When I was 5 years old I was digging in the dirt. There was a broken bottle buried in the dirt and I cut the back of my left hand. I see the one scar every time I look at my left hand. I takes me back to that day in the back yard. 16. I have a scar in my right eyebrow. I was playing basketball in high school when the player from the other team got upset and throw the ball inbounds hitting me in the face and my glasses ripped a chunk out of my eyebrow. 17. I have a scar on the top of my right wrist that I got when I was like 12 years old from helping my Grandpa wring a chickens neck so we could eat it for dinner that night and when I wrung it s neck his claw from foot came up and deeply cut my wrist! I will never forget that!!! 18. The only scar I have is from when I had my son and that was the scariest thing I've ever done. I read EVERY book possibly made about having a baby, EXCEPT for about C-sections and I was totally unprepared for that. BUT, I'd take those scars all over my body if the outcome would be as great as it was with my son. 19. My lip. When I was a baby, I was at the sitters when I fell and split my upper lip over on the fireplace.

2 20. I don t have any weird ones I do have one on the back of my hand that you wouldn t notice unless I point it out. It is from elementary school, I was playing tetherball with a girl that ALWAYS won well, I beat her one day and she pinched me, and I have the scar to prove it (25 years later). 21. I have a scar on my leg that is in a V shape. I got it when I tripped and fell into sharp sapling stub along a creek. The sapling had been cut off by a beaver leaving a very sharp stub. 22. I have a Frankenstein scar on my right calf because I had to have an aneurysm repaired after a softball injury.oops J 23. I was hit by a car when I was about 8 years old. The scabs on my knees were so deep they had to cut them off with scisssors to allow them to continue to heal. Gross huh? 24. I have two weird ones! One is a little one on my upper lip in the shape of a moon, I was small and fell out of my high chair and cut my lip for that one. The second one is on top my head (covered by lots of hair luckily), I fell off the porch when I was 3-4 and landed on a pop bottle cap. 25. I have a scar on my knee from taking the trash out I was making hot tea and spilled boiling water on my hand. I now have a scar that looks like a white heart. 27. I have scar on the inside of my left arm. When I was small I ran my arm through an old fashioned wash machine ringer. 28. I have a scar on the top of my foot from when my girlfriend Monica dropped a knife...oh wait...that was an episode of Friends...silly me. 29. If I see my chicken pox scar, then I know the neckline on my shirt is too low! J 30. Which one???lol Probably the weirdest is on my left arm just right above the elbow I have about a 1 scar. I was about 8 riding my bike on our country roads & I wiped out & I got a rock in there that I did not realize until it started hurting & a big bump appeared. The Dr. went in & took it out which left a scar. 31. I have a scar in my right eyebrow. I have a nice big scar on my leg that is concave inward from an infected spider bite over this past summer. 35. I was playing baseball when I was in the fifth grade with my siblings. I tried to go under a barb wire fence, and caught my shoulder on the barb wire and I have a scar on my shoulder. Ouch! 36. Scar - Mine is on my scalp from the Chicken Pocks. 37. No weird scars, but when I had my car accident my air bags deployed and I thought I was going to have the Saturn emblem on my forearm forever! 38. On my chin. I was hit with a golf club 39. On my ankle I have a scar from being run over by my own parked car! You don't hear of that happening everyday! 40. I have a surgery scar on my left middle finger. I broke my finger while walking my dog! The leash got tied around my hand and when she pulled at it to take off after a squirrel it snapped my finger. I have had quite a few broken fingers in my life, but I ve never had to have surgery on one, let alone from walking the dog lol

3 41. I have a scar on my nose from my little brother. Got it when I was young and he was chasing me. I started to run out a door and he pushed against the other side. My face broke the glass on the window and my nose got cut from the glass. 42. I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands in I have scars on my palms and you can still see where the stitches were. Very Frankensteinish love them! 43. I just have the normal scars scars on the knees, etc. 44. One of the weirdest scars that I have is a scar from the muffler of a Montgomery Ward Lawnmower. 45. When I was a kid, I backed into it not knowing that my dad had just mowed the lawn and it left a ring type scar on the back of my calve! 46. I have a scar above my left eye. When my brother and I were little he had a toy gun holster that was on a belt. He took the belt off and was swinging it around above his head. The straight part of the belt buckle swung around and cut me above the eye. 47. I have a scar on my knee cap from elementary school. The school used to have a very old wooden play set with a bridge. I was running across the bridge when some of the logs just gave out and broke with my one leg going straight thru. 48. I don t have any weird scars mine are all very nice and normal! J 49. On my head in my hair I have two bald spots from when I was a baby and pulled a coffee pot over on my head. The spots are where some of the hot grounds landed. 50. I have a scar in a half moon shape under my left eye given to me by my cat as a child. 51. I was hit by a car back in 1997 and had a lot of damage to my knees. There was a lot of fluid building up that I was having to have drained multiple times a week. I knelt down and my knee was tight and it exploded out the side of my knee causing a huge hole. That has left a pretty disgusting scar. 52. Smallpox vaccination scar upper left arm. A tiny scar on my big toe Mom always told me not to ride my bike without shoes. The neighbor boy tried to play chicken on his bike with me well, I wasn t going to give in to big, bad Bruce, so I rode my bike straight towards him, we collided and I fell, gashing my toe in the process. Tomboy or not, it still hurt and bled. Since my tires were now bent out of shape, I had to limp, bleeding, all the way home holding back the tears. Don t know if Bruce ever felt sorry. You can guess what my mom said. 53. I have several scars, but the two most seen is on my legs, my left knee I have a scar and bump, where I hit a barrel, when I was barrel racing. My second scar is on my right leg, I was running out of an outbuilding on my great grandparents farm, didn t see a piece of tin and tore open my leg. I was on the swim team, so the cut didn t heal for about six weeks, it is about 5 inches long. 54. I have a scar on my right foot from a high school cheerleading injury that required 6 screws to be put in my foot. 55. On my foot, I suffered what is called a "circular laceration" and they almost had to do a skin graft, because there was only a small piece holding it together. I get it, because my older brother was shooting me with nerds from a straw, and it's like getting hit with an air powered shotgun, I took off down the hall, where I stepped on a metal bracket for a window AC unit my parents where putting in to help their ageing central unit. 56. The weirdest scar is from a biking accident when I collided with a car. I ve got a few scars from the glass and pavement but the most memorable is the small rock imbedded in my elbow still that won t come out after 7 years. It is a reminder that I was very lucky to be alive. 57. I have 2 weird scars, one is in the middle of my forehead where I was standing in the front seat of the car when my mom slammed on the break and my forehead hit the radio dial and the little design on the knob is the scar on my forehead. The other scar is from trying to climb out of my crib as a child and fell and hit the heat register vent and it put a scar right in my part line in my hair. I hate this scar cause it messes up my part. 58. I have a scar and a small indention in the front of my skull from pulling a dresser on my head as a toddler. Fortunately, the crib took the brunt of the dresser. 59. When I was about seven, and had no idea about the workings of physics, I took a running leap onto a chair to turn off a light. I expected my forward momentum to stop when I landed on the chair, but as

4 momentum does, it kept me moving forward. I fell face first into some metal blinds and gashed my head open right above my left eyebrow. Still have the scar to this day, and I also have a greater appreciation for physics. 60. They ve all pretty much faded away used to have a pizza slice shaped brown burn scar on my forearm from hitting the corner of a pizza oven when I worked for Godfather s Pizza on the cut table that was my favorite teen job. 61. My left elbow has a scar from when I was in 5 th grade, riding really fast on my bike. I fell off and slid about 3 ft on my elbow in the street. There was so much skin hanging off of it that when I got up, I thought my bone was hanging out and not just the skin. 62. I have two both on my shin s one from a boat prop and the other from a tractor hitch.. at the time of each accident I could see the bone in both my legs!! 63. No weird scars. I am just not always graceful and usually have a bruise somewhere. 64. Pencil stuck in my leg in middle school. Still have a round mark. 65. I have a small scar in between my thumb and pointer finger (think soft fold of skin) from accidentally stabbing myself with a scalpel while dissecting a cow eyeball in biology class. We then decided it would be a good idea to jump from the roof of the dock (it wasn t) I couldn t get onto the top by myself so my friends brother took my arms and pulled me up. When he did the sheet metal cut my knee! BUSTED!! 73. I have one on my thigh which kind of looks like a spider. I had a mole removed and due to the location on my thigh it kind of spread out when you moved or exercised when it was stitched up and healing so it scarred like that. 74. When I was 18 mo. old, I pulled a cup of very hot coffee off the table down the front of me. Ouch! Good think I don t remember it J 76. I have a scar on my hand from a cyst removal. When it healed it continued to look like I had stitches in my hand. 77. I have a scar on my arm from a little boy I used to babysit when I was a teenager. He wasn t quite 2 years old and he got upset when his mom left, I picked him up to console him and he bit me. He s a dad now and I remind him often how he ruined my hand/arm modeling career. 78. Well it doesn t look like a scar but more like a birth mark. When I was a baby my plastic pants (and yes I know I m showing my age) got twisted around my leg and left a mark. 79. I have a lovely scar (almost faint now) on my knee from when I was learning to ride a bike. I crashed into a fence & my knee was tore up pretty bad.

5 80. I have 2 inch scar on the side of my left thumb, was opening a box with a box cutter in my right hand and my left hand on top of box, didn t stop when I came to the end of the box. J 81. It was crazy 84. The weirdest scar I have is on my left cheek near my temple. No one can see it because it's pretty small, and my make up covers it up. When I was around 4 or 5 years old, my family lived in the Mt. Carmel Apt. on W. Douglas. I've always loved animals, and one day there was an orange cat that started hanging around the complex. It didn't look dirty, and was pretty fat, so I didn't feel threatened by it. One day, after I had seen it several times, I was outside playing, and it came around again. He came closer than he ever had before to me, so I decided to try and pet him. I don't know if I tried to pick him up or just pet him...all I remember is whatever I did he didn't like, and scratched my face. He dug deep enough that I had blood running down my cheek. It, of course, scared my mom, and she came running out to see what was happening since I was crying at that point with the blood and all. I don't think it really was that bad, because the scar is pretty small 85. I have a nice big stitch scar about 4 inches across on my back from a birth mark that was removed when I was 7. It's been a great talking point over the years when children ask how I got the scar. The scar was caused by everything from a Kansas alligator attack, alien abduction, to a wrestling match with sasquatch. 86. Poison Ivy scars! When I get it, I really get it and it goes deep. They usually are gone after 2-3 years, but the older I get, the longer it takes to fade. 87. Bumpy Flag shaped scar on my knee from a bike wreck. Didn t go to dr and probably should have. 88. I have a small piece of lead or graphite stuck in my hand from playing with a pencil in grade school. I didn t want to dig it out so I left it there. 93. My weirdest scar is on my left arm above the elbow. I was cutting strings off stake that were used to support vines for tomato plants with a hook knife and it slipped, slicing my arm open about 4 inches. I was very lucky that day. 94. I have two hole shaped scars in my thigh where my brother stabbed me with a bbq grill fork. Reading this now it sounds horrible. We must have been out of control kids. But we have a great relationship now. All for taking care of the trash which was not my chore at age I HAVE A BOOMERANG SHAPED SCAR ON MY KNEE THAT I GOT WHEN I WAS LITTLE AND STUCK IT ON A PIECE OF WOOD IN MY DAD S TRUCK THAT HAD A NAIL IN IT. 98. Small scar by my eye, kicked by a horse (rocking horse that is). 99. Nothing too weird, but recently burn from the oven on my wrist I have a white scar line across the palm of my right hand. When I was in 2 nd or 3 rd grade, my big brother and friends on 4 th of July were setting off M80 s (they were legal back then) and blowing up stuff in our back yard. They placed an M80 in a metal pipe, lit it and when it did not go off right away they told me to go check it. Being young and stupid, I picked up the pipe and as I did, the M80 exploded and it caused a hole in the pipe and the metal cut my hand. It was one of those old galvanized pipes so it was fairly thick. I am lucky I did not loose my hand, but thankful that I didn t. Never did that again and my brother & his friends got in soooo much trouble. Now I just show that scar to young kids on the 4 th of July if they are getting to roudy and show them what fire works can do if they are not careful I have the floor heater grate lines on my leg. Fell on it as a child. Mostly faded now The weirdest scar I have is from a hip surgery I had. I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic strips they put on it so both of my injection points look like flowers My brother was batting when we were young kids and hit my head with the ball bat. The scar is in my eyebrow and messed it up but as years have gone by, it is nearly gone A Chicken Pox scar from when my brother threw a snowball at me and hit one of the pox spots. I was feeling better but the spots hadn t completely healed. The snowball opened up the sore and left a scar on my side I guess it would be the tornado coming into the sw part of town, and living in Haysville? (SW part of town) driving home seeing it develop around us, and the aftermath damage. Thanks 106. When I was a kid I tried to open a glass bottle of pop and broke the whole top off, my index finger came sliding down on the jagged edge and a nice hunk of skin was left dangling. My brother was chasing me and I ran and slipped and pulled the heater stove over on my arm. Back then little stoves were on hoses not pipes and had open flames with a "fence" in front of the flames. I caught my arm in the fence. They rushed me to the Dr. and he wanted to take my arm off, saying I would never have use of it. My Dad who only went to the 10th grade said, "we can always take it off we can't put it back on we are going to try o heal it," the upper part was clear to the bone. They were still treating it 6 months later but today I have full use of my arm. I was also told by my Dad, "if someone doesn't like you because of your scar they aren't worth liking any way." It has never bothered me. I look back today and think how different my life would have been IF I only had one arm. I am very blest I have a scar on my knee from when I was on a road trip when I was a kid. I had laid the seat down so I could lay down with my legs in the trunk & we hit a bump. Since I had my knees up reading, I ended up cutting my knee open on something on the trunk lid. It was really stupid & I was more concerned that I had a rip in my leggings then the cut itself I have two matching scars on my left eyebrow that I got in to seperate car accidents.

7 113. I have a small scar, about 2 inches long, on the inside of my forearm, by my elbow that I got when I was about 9. I got it while I was trying to get down out of a tree and I stepped on a branch that wasn't strong enough to support my 80 lbs and it broke, while sliding down the tree my arm slid across a nail sticking out of the tree and that's how I got the scar I ve got a scar on my knee from being pulled behind a car on the sidewalk on a skate board.
