2 2012 edition October Bourse de Commerce de Paris 2 rue de Viarmes Paris cutlog, a Parisian, cutting-edge contemporary art fair will hold its fourth edition from the 18 th to the 21 st of October The opening will take place on the 17th, followed by 4 days of open views alongside thematic conférences and artists films. The 2012 PICTET prize : The Swiss Bank Pictet creates a 5000 prize. It will be given to a gallery elected by a jury composed of personalities from the art world. The 2012 ARTE prize: ARTE has confirmed its support with a 5000 prize. 7 4/4 General terms of condition The present contract is signed between (the exhibitor) and cutlog (the organizer) The exhibitor and the organizer under take to respect the following obligations: 1 Registration fees: the pre-registration dossier must be accompanied by a payment of 250.This sum is acquired by the organizer, whether or not the exhibitor is selected. 2 The exhibitor is committed to occupy personally his exhibition stand at the Bourse du Commerce of Paris from October 17th, to October 21st, 2012 without possible authorization of subletting. 3 The exhibitor undertakes to rent the booth at the price set in the registration dossier, as set above. The VAT of 19,6% are to be added to the indicated price for the french galleries. Any additional requests, technical or otherwise, are at the cost of the exhibitor: walls, extralighting, stockroom with door, tables, pedestals,etc. Payments can be made by bank or postal transfer, or by check from a Frenchbank. All amounts of payment and expenses are to be made in Euro. Transfer charges are at the cost of the exhibitor. 4 Are included in the price of the booth rental: white walls 3 metres high, lighting, signage, electrical outlet, wifi access, one chair, 20 invitations to the opening party and 30 fair invitations per day, the presentation of participants on the cutlog website, press and publiclations and marketing of the event, catalogue with one colour photo and text per gallery. 5 The first payment of as well as the registration fee of 250 should be paid after the acceptation of the registration dossier. The balance of the booth rental must be paid before September 1st, The exhibitor guarantees the authenticity of the works tobe sold. In case the exhibitor would supply false information during the registration, the people in charge of cutlog reserve the right to cancel the participation of the afore mentioned exhibitor. Expenses paid for the registration will not be reimbursed. Any participation at the fair is considered as a firm and definitive commitment. The sums paid by the exhibitor will not be paid off. 7 The choice of furniture and of graphics on the booth must fit in with the visual identity of the fair. Accordingly, the organizer of the fair reserves the right to refuse this choice. 8 In order to finalize registration, the present contract must be signed by the exhibitor. It will be counter signed by the organizer who will attribute the booth. The organizer reserves the right to refuse any registration without having to justify this refusal. The registration will be confirmed in writing by the organizer. Any correction or modification of the contract will take the form of an amendment signed by the organizer and the exhibitor. 9 In signing the present contract, the exhibitor accepts and promises to respect the rules and laws of France. Throughout the duration of the fair, any modification of theboothandits style must be approved by the organizer. The organizer will not reimburse any expense contracted by the exhibitor. Any signed contract is a definitive commitment to participate in the fair. In the case that an exhibitor would be obliged to cancel its participation in the fair, any amount engaged will be definitively lost. 10 The organizer promises to respect the commitments mentioned in article 2 above. During the preparation, the dismantling and the duration of the exhibition, the organizer will not be responsible for damages, destruction by fire, water, theft, loss of artwork, crates or transportation boxes, material, accessories and goods of the exhibitor. The exhibitor and its insurers renounce any recourse against the organizer as well as the lessor of the premises. The exhibitor and its insurers renounce any complaint against the organizer for theft, loss, damages, during the event against the lessors, agents, employees or persons linked to the organization of the fair. The exhibitor undertakes to furnish the organizer with a certificate of civil responsibility insurance before August, the 15th. After this deadline, the exhibitor will have to pay 95 for the civil responsibility insurance. The organizer will not be held responsible for any damage caused by a third person even in the interior of the exhibition. The organizer is insured for damages caused to third persons. 11 The date of the fair can be postponed or cancelled at any moment in the case of force majeure. 12 Security: a 24 hour security service is in place at the entry and inside the Bourse du Commerce. The necessary and useful information will be furnished the day of the booth installation. 13 Any dispute should be brought to the attention of the organizer a maximum of ten day safter the closing of the fair. Furthermore, any dispute originating from the interpretation or the execution of the present contract will be subject to the courts of Paris, only French law being applicable.
