I feel I have come on a 30 year full circle, as my family business started off in manufacturing wigs and hairpieces and opening hair loss centres. Twenty years ago I learnt micropigmentation now I m back! My journey in micropigmentation started from seeking solutions for ladies undergoing chemotherapy and those with alopecia. I feel that by putting colour back into the skin, I could put colour back into people s lives. 7 7 Matt Iulo Master Educator Matt is a Senior Scalp Micropigmentation Specialist based in New York City. He began his journey nearly 6 years ago after receiving the treatment himself. After extensive training, Matt was instrumental in introducing innovative hair loss procedures to the United States. He was one of the first American practitioners and consultants and since has gone on to treat thousands of men and women throughout the USA. During his time in the industry Matt has also helped train and educate many new practitioners in the field. His training concentrates on developing consistent, high-quality results to ensure that scalp micropigmentation continues to improve and grow. Helen Porter Master Educator Helen has a unique range of talents spanning 16 years in the aesthetics industry. She is trained in scalp tattooing, SPMU, medical tattooing and skin rejuvenation. She also teaches and lectures worldwide. Helen has also trained in regular tattooing and removal procedures. Her visionary passion for the industry sees her pioneering new techniques and concepts in all areas of micropigmentation. 20 20 5 day MicropigMANtation Masterclass DAY 5: REVIEW / ASSESSMENT / MESO4MEN To obtain insurance and a Certificate of Excellence you are required to complete 10 case studies and return for assessment. Assessment days run bi-monthly on set dates throughout the year at our head office in Haywards Heath. When you have completed all your case studies, you can call to book your assessment. It is a great day and will enable you to network and meet other technicians as well as completing your training. Morning session: After successful completion of the assessment you will receive your Diploma of Excellence and a voucher to activate your first year s malpractice insurance. Afternoon session: Meso4Men workshop. Learn how your scalp machine can be used to implant serums into the scalp to: help prep the scalp prior to tattooing, for maximum implant retention to stimulate potential hair growth to offer facial skin rejuvenation to your clients Digital skin needling can be used to trigger the body s natural defence mechanism. The trauma caused can stimulate the body to produce proteins, which are responsible for the production of new hair follicles. Preferred serums can be infused into the scalp by using the safety cartridge needles reservoir to deliver the substances into the scalp.

22 22 Meso4Men Workshop OVERVIEW Meso4Men is a new skin needling programme which can produce incredible results. The visible skin damage such as wrinkles, fine lines, dehydration and sagging actually happens below the surface of the skin this is also where the repair takes place. Meso4Men substances penetrate very effectively right to the intersection between epidermis and dermis and place the highly effective substances directly at the problem areas with amazing results. Skin and wrinkle improvement is often seen after only 1 treatment and these results encourage clients to continue with the entire course. Using hyaluronic skin infusions and an 18 point plastic needle cartridge, you will be able to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin texture and tone. Clients undertake a course of treatments over 6-8 sessions and then 6 weekly visits thereafter.

49 49 How to book Where do I train? See opposite for a list of our training venues across the UK and USA. How do I choose my dates? Simply contact head office and they will help you to find a course with dates that are suitable for you. How do I pay? All we need is a 500 deposit, the rest is payable 2 weeks before the start of your course. How do I get a licence? Contact your local council, tell them your plans and they will put you in touch with the right department. They will also be able to help you with clinical waste collection. When do I activate my insurance? Day 4 of your training course! You will be given all the info and forms by your trainer.
