3 Guidance notes 1. Students are given a set allocation of rooms/experiences. Over the course of any given year a minimum number of hours need to be completed in order for all areas of work to be assessed. Any shortfall in hours can be made up in a combination of different areas according to your learning needs and the placements available within the dept. 2. All hours work need to be documented and signed. Any shift/rota/room changes need to be agreed by your hospitals CLR 3. The maximum a student can work in any one week is 40 hours. 4. The attendance book is divided into sections. Generals/A&E RNI Fluoroscopy/Barium Studies Angiography/Interventional/Cardiac Cath Mobile/Ward/Theatre Breast/Mammography CT Office Nurse Porter MRI Special Placements i.e. Ward Bone Density US Out of Hours 5. Please fill in your hours in the correct sections to allow for hours to be calculated. 6. At the end of each week a reflection of the experiences undertaken needs to be completed and feedback from a member of staff you have worked with obtained. This needs to be included within your portfolio. 7. The expectation is for you to control your learning and attendance documentation in an organised manner throughout the year. 8.
