1 CREATIVE HAIR AND MAKEUP PHOTOGRAPHIC ENTRY Participants to use their imagination and creativity to design a colourful creative photographic concept (can be work created from 1 st December 2017 to today s date). Black and white concepts will not be accepted. Minimal editing of hair and makeup please. Backgrounds can be added after the fact by the photographer. Ensure your garments, hair style, makeup and accessories are complimentary. Hair styling, makeup, garments and setting will be judged as one entire look. In a small sentence please tell us what inspired this look. Credit model, stylist and photographer All Submissions must be photographed professionally, full body length (ie head to toe ) and submitted in High Rez (up to 12 MB ) This category will be pre-judged so as artists remain anonymous. All images will be printed and displayed by PHMUA Awards at the event with your business details, model, stylist and photographer. Please keep your MACRO LIP ART PHOTOGRAPHIC ENTRY Participants to use their imagination and creativity to create a creative photographic concept for their macro lip entry. Accessories, glitter, paint, jewels, gems, holographic materials, feathers, all things creative can be used to create your look. However your look MUST contain 50% accessories of any type listed above and 50% Makeup. A lip just covered with accessories will not be accepted. Props can be used in your image but must not obstruct the lips and MUST be a creative concept, nothing plain. Please ensure your work is original and do not simply copy another artist nationally or internationally. Minimal editing to smooth skin and remove facial hair if necessary but not to edit makeup please. In a sentence please tell us why you were inspired by this look. Credit your model and photographer. Previous work can be submitted. 4 CUT CREASE PRO MAKEUP TUTORIAL VIDEO Participants to create a FULL FACE video tutorial to demonstrate a cut crease eyeshadow application. Products used can be shown or mentioned during application Voice over or music can be used to help your video demonstration Look can be created on yourself or a model Ensure lighting and sound is excellent quality Tutorial must NOT be more than 3 mins long after editing. Please ensure your quality of work is presented and performed at a high standard and attention to detail or it will not be accepted. 5 Makeup is pre-done at your location. Model s hair must be neat and tidy in a low bun or low up-do. The hair is not judged but overall presentation is taken into consideration. Please pay special attention to the model s hair line so as not to hinder your work or to look untidy in the professional images. Hint choose a model with a solid hair line. Facial / Body or ornamentation is allowed to enhance or compliment the makeup. Application must be flawless, blending on point and attention to detail. Artist to leave backstage before judges arrive so as to remain anonymous. Winners to be announced at the Awards After Party (from 5pm 5 August Ascot) You must use an approved garment by our sponsoring designer. This can be chosen at the Casting / Fitting Event (date to be confirmed). You must use a model with proven photographic and catwalk experience for best results. Inspiration should come from high fashion runways, magazines and artists Makeup can be either airbrush or traditional application may be used Ensure your garments, hair style, makeup and accessories are all complimentary. Head pieces, hair accessories, feathers, jewels and hair extensions are acceptable however 50% of the model s hair MUST be incorporated into the head piece or you will be disqualified

7 The aim is to go above and beyond creativeness, think outside the square, it may help to develop a theme and name your creation to assist your process. Please keep your Thank you and I look forward to seeing your entry on the day - Shelley Meyer Body Art Passion Arrive and set up: am (g-strings and large nipple covers to be applied) Live Competition: 7.30am 1.30pm Model Break: pm Judging: pm Presentation on Runway : 2.10pm Body painting is to be done live at Ascot. 2.4m trestle tables will be supplied (to be shared between two contestants). The Body Painting area will be private until 11.30am when the makeup artists doing the live Arabian Makeup will arrive with their models, then 2noon the audience will arrive. Whilst we will do everything to keep you and your model comfortable, this is a visual competition so the public will be viewing your model partially dressed from 12noon. If you or your model are not comfortable with this then please do not apply for a place in the event. Models must be age 18 and over. Large pasties and g-string are a requirement. Please also supply garments to fully cover your models buttocks. Your models must be completed on time or you may be disqualified.

8 The following is a list of THINGS ALLOWED in this category: Brush and sponge application of approved Face & Body Paint or makeup False Fingernails False Eyelashes Earrings Contact Lenses LED s Shoes coming up no higher than below the knee Wigs and false hair - to be attached only to the hair area on the head Glitter and Glitter Glue - cosmetic grade Attachments - stuck on using prosthetic glue made for skin, elastic, string Accessories - weapons, staffs, bunches of flowers etc. as long as the model can carry it. Headpieces Stencils Touch ups after the finish time - if you need to touch up lips, or if there is an obvious smudge you need to fix prior to judging you may do so. The following is a list of THINGS NOT ALLOWED in this category: Prosthetics - latex applications to the skin, artificial body parts or limbs, artificial features or pieces of flexible material applied to the face or body that changes it s appearance (Oxford Dictionary). We are hoping for a Special Effects Category next year. Airbrush application of paint Gloves The Judging: 90% of the body should be covered in paint Please note that although headpieces and accessories and attachments are allowed, there are no specific points given to them by the judges.
