1 204 NAA OPENING PARTY SPONSORSHIPS Be a part of what is sure to be a great and memorable event - the 204 NAA Opening Party, held on Thursday, June 9 from 7-0 p.m. NAA attendees will stroll through Denver's Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) and experience the diversity of Colorado's summer festival season wrapped up in to one spectacular NAA Opening Party! Whether an art lover, a wine or beer connoisseur, a foodie, or a music aficionado, each guest is sure to be wowed at this over-the-top party! All attendees will be invited ( are included in full conference registrations and can also be bought separately for guests, spouses and non-full conference registration attendees and exhibitors) with fun advanced promotions (highlighting the sponsors!) and will receive a map at the single main entrance of the party, as well as in advanced conference promotions. The party will include four (4) different themed festivals set up throughout the DPAC. Festivals: Denver Chalk Art Festival Food and Wine Classic in Aspen Great American Beer Fest Taste of Colorado Extensive food and beverage options, live music, theme lighting and interactive entertainment will be contained within each festival. 2 Denver Chalk Art Festival Since 2002, the Chalk Art Festival on Larimer Square is one of the most highlyanticipated festivals in Denver each June. The festival s history stretches back to 6 th -century Renaissance Italy, when the era s artists began using asphalt as a canvas and creating temporary masterpieces with chalk. Today, more than 200 of these artists spend hours turning Larimer Square into a museum of chalk art over the course of three days. NAA s Chalk Art Festival will showcase the talents of eight professional street painters, as they interpret the conference theme Reach New Heights. A 30 x6 chalk art wall will be setup within the festival and will allow attendees to add their own strokes of genius to a mural that will be sketched out and allow attendees to pick up a piece of chalk and start coloring. Attendees will enjoy the tunes of a professional DJ playing from an overhead second story balcony. The area will also include lounge seating, food stations and bars. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote on their favorite work of art. Attendees will be able to get handson and create their own piece of art! Sponsor the 30 x6 canvas wall that will allow guests to add their own strokes of genius! A Reach New Heights mural will be sketched out so guests can immediately pick up a piece of chalk and start coloring. Instructors will be on-hand to guide guests as they color their way through the scene. 3 T Food and Wine Classic in Aspen The Food and Wine Classic in Aspen has become the premier event for Food and Wine magazine. With cooking demonstrations by the country s most famed chefs, and tastings lead by the world s foremost sommeliers, more than 5,000 guests travel near and far to savor this prestigious event. NAA s Food and Wine Classic will take place inside the Galleria at DPAC. The area will include live aspen trees, greenery and wine barrels, beetle-kill pine seating, two (2) bar areas pouring Colorado wines, and food stations featuring local Colorado products. Opportunity Description Includes Food and Wine Classic Sponsor NAA 75 th Anniversary Photo Area Sponsor one of the wine bars located in the Food and Wine Classic area. Two (2) extensive built-in bars inside the Galleria will exclusively pour Colorado wines. Each bar will have three (3) custom engraved sponsor branded (logo) wine barrel along with sponsor branded tasting notes atop the bar that describes the flavor profile of the featured wines. The Great American Beer Fest (GABF) is the largest beer festival of its kind and has even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records! Held every year in October, The GABF features over 3,000 types of beer and serves more than 36,500 gallons of beer to over 49,000 attendees. With more than 20 breweries located through Colorado, NAA attendees won t be able to try all of them, but they will get to sample a few of the best! NAA s Great American Beer Fest will include a traditional Beer Garden and three (3) bars each serving two kegs of local microbrews. Two bar maids and two men dressed in Lederhosen will greet attendees as they enter the Beer Garden Area. Four (4) Colorado beer experts will also be on-hand to answer questions regarding specific breweries and their brewing process. Attendees will enjoy traditional food fare and ample seating will be available for groups of Beer Fest goers. 4 Taste of Colorado The Taste of Colorado originated back in the 895, and is a three-day festival held at the Civic Center Park that is filled with artisan booths and vendors, multiple stages with live performances, libations for adults, activities for all ages, and an abundance of tasty edibles for food enthusiasts! NAA Taste of Colorado includes caricature artists and live artists painting their creative vision of the event as it happens on the sidewalk located in the Sculpture Park area. Guests will enjoy cuisine from twelve local food trucks set up in the main park area and enjoy the music by three (3) local bands and live entertainment from the Flying Ace All-Stars. There will be plenty of seating for attendees to relax and enjoy the evening! Opportunity Description Includes Food Trucks Opening Party Bands With Denver being one of the nation s hot spots for the food truck craze, it seems only fitting that guests will have the opportunity to experience a selection of cuisine from these unique trucks. The cuisine represented will cover a vast array of food types served on small plates so guests can try items from several different trucks, including BBQ, Vietnamese, Seafood, Mediterranean, Pizza, and even some sweet treats. Bringing a true festival spirit to the Opening Party, a variety of Denver s hottest bands will take the stage in succession! From 80 s to country to a variety of Top 40 s tunes. These three bands are sure to get the crowd dancing throughout the night. Each band will play for approx. 45 minutes with a 5 minute intermission in between. Olympic-caliber athletes will perform exciting trampoline routines as attendees watch in amazement. Trampoline-jumping Ski SuperStars will freestyle as attendees arrive and perform three routine sets throughout the evening lasting between 5 20 minutes. Athletes will also host a meet and greet for attendees, giving people a unique opportunity to meet an Olympic athlete! 5 Opportunity Description Includes VIP Lounges Live Artist Caricature Artist Sponsor a VIP Lounge that will be setup in the Sculpture Park and invite attendees to come and relax or party with your company. One () 20 x20 white canopy tent is sure to draw attendees attention to sponsors home base. Each lounge will include casual seating for group seating of approximately twelve (2) attendees at a time. Attendees will also enjoy VIP service as a private cocktail server will be taking drink orders. Sponsor two (2) live artists who will be painting their creative vision of the event as it happens! Attendees can watch the paintings come to life, as well as look and purchase the artist works, which will be displayed on large gallery walls. Attendees will be able to take home a complimentary pre-created custom postcard of the event, which will feature the sponsor logo. Sponsor the two (2) caricature artists that will be capturing take-home images of attendees. Each artist will be setup along the sidewalk located in the Sculpture Park area and can create on average 0 caricatures in an hour. Attendees will be able to select their tattoo from a number of shapes and stencils. Each artist will be setup along the sidewalk located in the Sculpture Park area. Attendees will be able to get some ink for the night, without the long-term commitment! Sponsor the spiced nut cart that will be serving fresh roasted almonds, Louisiana spicy peanuts, honey roasted cashews and butter toffee peanuts to attendees as they stroll along the NAA Taste of Colorado festival. No sponsorship monies will be refunded: -In the event of a party cancellation -Unavailability of a particular sponsorship opportunity -Cancellations made by entertainment of sponsored events The cost of individual sponsorship opportunities cannot be shared or split between companies. Should a sponsor elect to cancel their confirmed sponsorship, the sponsor is not entitled to a refund of monies paid to NAA. NAA Show Management must approve all sponsorship recognition including, but not limited to, signage, handouts and giveaways. NAA may, at its discretion, replace any entertainment with what it deems to be comparable talent. NAA reserves the right to modify or cancel, at its discretion, any sponsorship opportunity at any time. Unless expressly authorized by NAA, the sponsor will have no creative input into the production of any sponsored opportunity. There will be no competitive company or category lockouts on any event. All Sponsors must participate in the 204 NAA Exposition. Each sponsor agrees to submit their company logo to NAA at the time of commitment. Preferred file format is 3 x 3 EPS and JPEG file. Logos can only contain one company name. If a new logo is submitted to NAA after the original one is received, NAA will try to update all conference materials moving forward but it is not guaranteed. deadline is May 5, 204. Sponsors will not be accepted after the deadline.
