Building upon the success of the Goldeneye UV Ink Range, we have introduced our next generations of Ultraflex UV Flexo Inks, Colorflex WB Flexo inks with Coatings and Adhesive. In addition we have strengthened our PrimaFlex Solutions range of Wash-ups, Ultrasonic Cleaners and Additives. What differentiates Ultrachem? A strong manufacturing heritage - since the early 1980 s Ultrachem has developed and manufactured a range of UV flexo inks, varnishes and adhesives as well as wash up and ultrasonic cleaner products Ultrachem provides a superb in-house ink blending and colour matching service combined with digital colour management systems that are utilised for optimum internal and external quality control assurance. Extender Component by which the standard characteristics of the press ready ink are adjusted for the appropriate substrate. Press Ready Inks Ready to use, no addition of extender is needed but through addition of extender the shade and, if applicable, the standard characteristics can be adjusted. ISEGA Certification A German testing and certification institute which tests and certifies various substrates, packaging, inks and coatings. AP (All Purpose) - formulated for printing on papers, including thermals (top & uncoated), boards and synthetic substrates such as PP & PE. Designed to provide a strong vibrant gloss finish. Colorflex - Paper Sacks / Bag Inks (PS Series) Designed for flexo printing a wide range of paper bags and sacks. A key characteristic is its ability to cope with the very diverse range of substrate qualities used in this sector. Colorflex - Post Print (PP Series) For Post Print flexo applications. Available as Colour Concentrates & Extenders, or Press Ready Inks. Colorflex - Gift Wrap Inks (GW Series) A high-quality ink series for gift wrapping papers using flexo or gravure printing. Available in press ready inks. Speciality Water Based Flexo products We can also offer high quality Metallic, Fluorescent and Pearlescent inks. AF (All Film) - designed for printing onto more difficult synthetic substrates with lower treatment levels where maximum adhesion is a requirement. Colorflex - Flexible Packaging Inks (FP Series) Ideal for both frontal and reverse printing followed by lamination. Suitable for flexible packaging substrates such as polypropylene, polyethylene and polyesters as well as aluminium. (We recommend that detailed testing is carried out due to the numerous substrates and their combination with plastic laminates.) Modified blends and opaque white are available for frontal printing in order to achieve maximum mechanical properties such as adhesive strength, gloss, abrasion resistance, heat sealing and scratch resistance. Water Based Flexo Coatings All our high quality water based coatings are formulated to exhibit specific end use properties from high gloss, matt, heat resistance, moisture and many others: WBC High Gloss, High Slip ISEGA approved. CC Water & Greaseproof FDA approved WB barrier coating Further water based coatings are available on request such as our Safe To Touch Anti-microbial coatings. WBFV High Gloss, Rub Resistant ISEGA approved, suitable for thermal materials as a top or primer coat. WBC Full Matt Foil Blockable WB food grade coating. WBC Heat Resistant Gloss A gloss coating specially formulated to provide heat resistance of up to 270 C

Ultraflex UV Flexo Inks Series The Ultraflex UV Flexo range of inks has been developed for use with all mainstream in-line and central impression (CI) UV Flexo printing presses.

4 Ultraflex UV Flexo Inks Series The Ultraflex UV Flexo range of inks has been developed for use with all mainstream in-line and central impression (CI) UV Flexo printing presses. Careful selection of photo initiators, resins, and monomers ensures compliance to relevant raw material use guidelines. Ultraflex UV Flexo inks are ITX and benzophenone free. Excellent flow properties allow the inks to be pumped into chambered or reverse angle doctor blade units. Unique resin chemistry provides exceptional gloss and adhesion on a wide range of substrates. All Ultraflex UV flexo inks are fully compatible with our extensive range of clear coatings. Our UV Flexo range includes product solutions for the following applications: Ultraflex UV Intense (Extremely high density for narrow - medium web Label / tag & flexible packaging) Ultraflex UV Intense Thermal (Suitable for top & semi coated thermal materials) Ultraflex UV LMC (Low migration compliant for indirect food packaging) Ultraflex UV SL (Shrink sleeve) Ultraflex UV LMC Series Formulated for the printing of food packaging on the nonfood contact surfaces. The formulation includes a selection of high molecular weight photo initiators, resins and additives to minimise potential migration, or set-off from the printed outer side to the food contact surface in the stack or reel. The LMC series is formulated and manufactured in accordance with EUPIA Guideline on Printing Inks applied to the non-food contact surface of food packaging materials and articles. Ultraflex UV SL Series This ink system is specifically for printing on the reverse side of shrink sleeve applications. Speciality Ultraflex UV Products We can also offer high quality Metallic, Fluorescent Inks in the UV Flexo Intense series along with Metallic options in both the LMC and SL series. Ultraflex UV Intense Series This ink system is based upon a hi-density 4 colour process set and base colour range. Formulated on a mono pigmented basis, for maximum colour consistency with the highest possible colour strength. This allows for lower anilox cell volumes to be set. The system is ideal for today s modern presses running a wide variety of substrates, and is recommended for self-adhesive labels, cartons, pouches, and wraparounds. It is also available in lightfast versions where required. Ultraflex UV Flexo Coatings and Adhesives Ultrachem offer a comprehensive range of UV Coatings and specialist adhesives. All are Benzo and ITX free, fast cure and formulated for paper, board and synthetic substrates UV High Gloss High Slip Foil Blockable & TTR UV High Gloss Foil Blockable & TTR UV Full Matt Available in both high slip or foil blockable versions UV Satin Matt Available in both high slip or foil blockable versions All the above coatings are available in Low Migration Compliant (LMC) formulations or bespoke versions. UV Free Radical Release Coating Press ready with excellent adhesion and very good release properties. UV Fast Bond Adhesive (UVA1306) A clear UV adhesive, formulated for use on film to board and film to film bonding. It gives high bond strength when used with suitable boards and treated/coated films. This adhesive is formulated for low migration and low toxicity when fully cured. It can also be a good barrier for chemicals, moisture and gasses. UV Cold Foil Adhesive A good quality PSA specifically formulated for Cold Foil Adhesive applications. Benzo free Cure speeds m/m Many other Coatings and Adhesives are available on request.
