2 2017 KCCS & KSKCS 10 th Anniversary Conference in Busan Greeting all doctors! Korean College of Cosmetic Surgery (KCCS) started as Yeongnam Cosmetic Surgery Forum in Busan with participation of 20 members on April 29, The forum then became Seoul Cosmetic Surgery Forum and Korean Cosmetic Surgery Forum and eventually becomes the Korean College of Cosmetic Surgery. It has been 10 years since it is developed into the Korean College of Cosmetic Surgery. Currently, our society consists of about 400 lifelong international and domestic members and regular domestic members, and up until now we have organized 29 regular international and domestic academic conferences, 114 workshops and handson courses from all fields such as blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty, and 11 cadaver workshops. We also have about 450 Fellows who have completed our regular education courses (fellowship and expert course). KCCS has been making many efforts in the development of cosmetic medicine and establishment of education system in Korea as well as throughout Asia. The three-day conference will take place from April 28th to 30th, 2017, with a two-day live surgery workshop and a oneday conference, in the field of cosmetic surgery and medicine. There will be live surgeries and presentations by KCCS educational and academic teaching fellow representatives from various fields of cosmetic surgery. In particular, the conference will introduce Virtual Reality (VR) technology, which utilizes advanced video transmission technology, so that users not only can watch the lectures on the Internet and mobile phones without directly attending the conference, but can also have instant virtual communication (Q & A) with the speakers. With this system, we anticipate that the workshop and conference will be a very interesting and exciting event. The conference, as the 30th conference of KCCS, is also a commemorative conference for the 10th anniversary of KCCS. Besides, it is also a meaningful event as the 1st edition of the international Journal of Cosmetic Medicine (J Cosmet Med) by KCCS will be published. We are confident that the introduction of the professional journal in the field of cosmetic medicine, J Cosmet Med as an international journal, can become the foundation stone for the specialization and development of cosmetic medicine in not only Korea but in Asia as well. We are looking forward to the participation of many cosmetic medicine doctors who are interested in the 30th conference of KCCS, which has been devoted to the education and development of Asian cosmetic medicine.
