Classic for standard, good quality products for everyday needs and Excellent is recommended for high performance and when you search for products of an exceptional quality. Legislation for the protective wear products: Abena Protective Wear in the EU can be marked as Medical Device or as Personal Protective Equipment. Medical Device Directive Intended for use in the medical field to protect patient and user against transfer of infective agents and to stop contamination. Class I Abena is responsible for ensuring that the protective wear products comply with requirements of the MDD Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC. Personal Protective Equipment Directive Clothing including protectors that covers or replaces personal clothing, and which is designed to provide protection against hazards. Category I, low risk of working tasks. Abena is responsible for ensuring that protective wear products comply with requirements of the E Personal Protective Equipment Directive, 89/686/EEC. 2
