Do we have to bid on all items? ANSWER: Yes, we are looking one vendor to supply all items. The Successful Bidder shall bid on all line items. 2. Could we have the previous pricing? ANSWER: There is no previous pricing. This is the first time we have put out a bid for Training Clothing states Badger Sweatpants. Then line item states in the description of the artwork shorts. Please let me know if line item is is supposed to be sweatpants or shorts. ANSWER: See above in the changes to reflect that it is Sweatpants. 4. The second question is concerning registration. We are a company in Florida, and would love the opportunity to participate in this bid. Would we need to register as vendors in the state of Maryland or given that we would be drop shipping the items requested, no registration is needed? ANSWER: If you are an out of state vendor you do not need to be SDAT registered since these items will be drop shipped. 5. Item # Sweatshirt - it is described as being a Gildan DryBlend 50% cotton/50% polyester sweatshirt. The problem is with the described weight of 15oz. Gildan does not make a sweatshirt in that weight. The sweatshirt they do make that matches all of the other specifications is 9.3oz. Can you clarify this please? ANSWER: A picture of the Gildan DryBlend tag is attached with the logo samples. If they no longer manufacture a 15 oz, then we would go with the next highest oz. sweatshirt available in that blend. However, it appears that the 15 oz. sweatshirt is still 3

4 available. See: p?productid= The quote is requesting that we send "printed logo samples" with our bid response (p item 3.3) - is this any printed logo samples, or specifically a sample of your printed logo? Please clarify. ANSWER: We would like to see our logo on the sample. Logo does not need to be on material, a picture of a shirt outline and jacket outline with the imprint showing will be fine. 7. Am I correct in assuming that line items 1-7 should be priced for the item including the cost of the letters screened on each item & line 8 should be for the extra cost to screen one of the two logos on each garment? ANSWER: Screen printing shall be included in the unit price for line items #1-7. Line #8 is for additional screen printing that the Department may require. 8. In Can you please confirm if the navy shirts are long sleeve or short sleeve? ANSWER: They are both. Please note that this is reflected on the REVISED BID RESPONSE FORM. 9. Can you confirm numbers are listed as # white / # navy, and if shirts are long sleeve or short sleeve for each #? Totals add to 2500/1250, but bid response form lists quantity for item as 2500 only. ANSWER: Please see the CHANGES above. The numbers on the Bid Response Form are estimated. 10. The sweatpants you are requesting have been discontinued. The sweatpants that have replaced them are very similar but do not have the elastic at the bottom of the pants they are open bottom and they also have pockets. Below is the description of the replacement pants please let me know what we need to do to submit our bid with the replacement sweatpants. 9.5 oz Ringspun 60% cotton/40% polyester Multi needle elastic covered waistband Inside drawcord Two deep side seam pockets Two needle bottom hem 4

5 ANSWER: If a bidder is unable to provide the manufactured item requested you can submit a County Approved Equal. You may not reduce the specifications of any apparel listed in this IFB. 11. For delivery of the items will there be one large initial order and then a few smaller orders throughout the year? Or will there be several smaller orders? ANSWER: There will be multiple orders of various quantities throughout the year. 12. In Training Academy Recruit Design Gym Shorts - Description on page 20 of the IFB says no screen print, but Item#5 on bid response form calls out screen print. Which is correct? Is it a 1 color, 1 location logo different from Fire Dept. shorts logo? ANSWER: Item# 5 should be have no screen printing, see attached Revised Bid Response Form. Hanes Beefy Tees - description calls out long and short sleeve as specified and also white and navy tees. Can you clarify/separate long from short sleeve and white tees from navy? On the bid response form I only saw one line item for tees. ANSWER: See attached Revised Bid Response Form which separates the white and navy shirts. 13. Can you please send me the logo that is to be screen printed on the various items - even a photo of it is fine. ANSWER: See attached. NOTE: THIS ADDENDUM AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT MUST ALSO ACCOMPANY THE IFB BID RESPONSE TO MAKE IT VALID.
