59 BUILDING YOUR BRAND In essence, branding is the term used for the process of building a favourable image for your company. It is the embodiment of what you stand for and is reflected in your company logo, images, colours, your advertising campaigns, even your communication with clients. Your brand may tell your clients how you can be differentiated from other like businesses or it may stand as a promise, a pledge of quality. We understand that to support your brand you need quality and consistency. Our garments are designed with an eye for fine detail and manufactured from high quality fabrics. APPLICATION TECHNIQUES Screen print The easiest and in many instances the best printing technique, used mainly for t-shirts and sweatshirts. Printing is carried out directly onto the garment. Transfer print Screen printing is carried out directly onto the garment, while transfer printing is performed using a carrier, which is then ironed onto the garment. Embroidery Embroidery is durable and often perceived as exclusive. Garments are individually embroidered which means that each garment can be customised. Embroidered labels The idea behind this is the same as for embroidery but instead of embroidering directly onto the garment the design is embroidered onto a carrier which is then sewn or ironed onto the garment. Embossing Embossing is a method that punches the print onto the fabric three-dimensionally. The effect is discreet and exclusive. Woven labels If you are ordering many items, a woven label is often cheaper than direct embroidery or an embroidered label. Compared to embroidery, woven labels can produce finer detail and smaller letters. The labels are sewn or ironed onto the garment in the same way as an embroidered label. The life of your clothes is affected by how well you care for them. If garments are washed as indicated, they will last longer. They exist so that we can be assured that our products are manufactured in good working conditions. We welcome these concerns and feel very comfortable with the measures in place protecting the safety and rights of those who produce our products. We have no hesitancy in saying to you that our products are produced in a safe environment, and should you wish to have more specific information on this please feel free to contact us for a copy of our Code of Conduct. Colour differences between the photo and the actual garment may arise due to photo technical reasons. There might also be differences between an image picture and a product picture of the same garment. In these cases please refer to the product pictures in the first instance. E. & O. E.

60 WASHING INSTRUCTIONS The life of your clothes is affected by how well you care for them. If garments are washed as indicated, they will last longer. Always wash dark colours separately and choose a detergent which does not contain bleaching agents: this not only helps to protect the environment, but is also kinder to clothes. Turn dark-coloured garments inside out before putting them in the washing machine as this will reduce wear to the outside of the garment. All cotton garments should be reshaped while damp and hung up to dry. All of our garments bear, clear easy to follow washing instructions. An iron means that the garment can be ironed or put through a heat mangle. The small dots in the iron indicate the temperature to be used for the garment. If a garment has a print on it, the print itself should not be ironed, even on the reverse. An iron symbol with a cross through it means that the garment cannot be ironed or put through a heat mangle. A tub symbol means that the garment can be washed by machine or by hand, and printed inside it is the temperature at which the garment should be washed for best results. The garment should be washed with a full machine load and will with stand a spin cycled. A tub symbol with a cross through it means the garment should not be washed in water. A triangle means that the garment may be bleached (with chlorine). The letters inside the triangle represent the chemical symbol for chlorine. A triangle with a cross through it means the garment is not suitable for chlorine bleaching. A circle means that the garment may be dry-cleaned. The letter inside the circle represents which solvent should be used. A circle with a cross through it means that the garment is not suitable for dry-cleaning. MEASURING TIPS TO GET THE RIGHT FIT 1. Chest: Measure your chest from under your armpits. Include the highest part of your chest and shoulder blades. 2. Waist: Measure at your natural waistline. 3. Seat: Standing with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your seat. 4. Sleeve: With arm relaxed at side and slightly bent, measure from the tip of your shoulder down to your wrist. 5. Neck: Measure around the base of your neck. Or, simply fi nd a collared shirt that fi ts you well. Lay the collar fl at, and measure from the middle of the collar button around to the far end of the button hole. STYLE OF THE GARMENT Don t forget to take the style of the garment into consideration. Different styles have different fi tting, some are slim fi t, some are loose fi t. WASHING Don t forget to take shrinkage into consideration for cotton garments. Our cotton garments may shrink up to 5%, so allow enough length especially in your sleeves. For best results, please follow washing instructions inside your garment. VARYING SIZES Don t forget sizing does vary from brand to brand and it is important that you fi t by measurements not just size. All garment measurements are available from your distributor, upon request. JUST TO MAKE SURE Of course the best way to get the correct fi t is to order a sizing set. Ask your distributor for details. BODY MEASUREMENTS Mens XXS XS S M L XL XXL XXXL 1. Chest Waist Seat Sleeve Neck A circle enclosed with a box means that the garment may be tumble-dried. Cotton should be tumble-dried at a medium temperature. If the symbol is crossed out, the garment should not be tumble-dried. It should be noted that tumble-drying increases wear and shrinkage to the garment. You can reduce wear to the outer surface by turning your garment inside out when tumble drying.
