73 LOGO & ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS When supplying logos for your kit, please follow the guidelines outlines below to ensure we have the correct format for production. EMBROIDERED LOGOS Available across our cut and sew and Leisurewear ranges* A full embroidery service is available for your crest or logo. If the logo is already set up, the electronic version (the embroidery disc or DST file) will need to be submitted with the order, as well as details of the colours required. Madeira thread shades must be provided, otherwise standard Under Armour thread colours will be used. If the logo is not set up electronically, we will require a high resolution logo in order to set up the DST file for you. Please explain how you want your logo to appear on both light and dark backgrounds, as well as giving adequate sizing information. You will receive a copy to approve before production. 74 GARMENT CARE ESSENTIALS WASHING GUIDELINES Best washing practice for your Under Armour Kit MACHINE WASH COLD WITH LIKE COLOURS NON CHLORINE BLEACH ONLY AS NEEDED DO NOT USE SOFTNERS - DO NOT DRY CLEAN TUMBLE DRY LOW - DO NOT IRON Always look for the garment care label and follow the washing instructions. Washing machines, powders and fabrics are specially manufactured to ensure that when washed at the right temperature, your clothes will come out looking their best. Washing Tips Before washing, close all zips, undo buttons, flatten collars and cuffs, and check pockets/linings for loose or sharp objects Turn garments inside out to reduce abrasion, so avoiding contamination from other garments during the wash cycle Always read the label for individual garment instructions, especially washing temperatures and softener use Garments of similar colours can be washed together where stated on the care label We advise a cool wash on all light coloured garmets, and those carrying heatseal prints Always use the correct amount of detergent depending on how soiled the garments are Check garments regularly for marks or stains and remove as soon as possible (pre-soak may be needed) Do not use fabric softeners Wash at 30º (cool wash) Do not use fabric softeners Dry naturally or cool iron* ON FIELD MATCH PLAY GARMENTS Pre-Treatment Guide MADE IN CHINA BODY: 75% COTTON, 25% POLYESTER Wash match play garments promptly. The sooner you pre-treat and launder the stained clothing, the better your results will be. Do not allow mud or stains to set in. Do not leave wet or dirty jerseys in kit or gym bags where smells and permanent stains will develop. If a stain is not removed in washing, we suggest: DRYING GUIDELINES Best drying practice for your Under Armour Kit Always check the care label to see whether the garment can be tumble dried. We recommend allowing most Under Armour garments to dry naturally (not on a radiator), or tumble dry on a low heat where applicable. For best results, pull garment into shape when damp. IRONING GUIDELINES Advice on ironing The iron symbols advise the optimum temperature at which to iron. The dots represent the recommended iron temperature; the more dots, the hotter the iron. Iron at any temperature, with steam or dry Treating Stubborn Staining Do not let garments dry out, as this will set the stain, including mud or grass staining Soak the stain in pre-wash; in the case of sever staining it may be necessary to apply the stain remover directly to the affected area, then launder again Do not dry the garment until the stain is removed - once the stain is removed, proceed to launder the kit as per usual custom Tips Pre-treat heavily soiled spots Apply undiluted laundry detergent Pre-soak garments with heavy stains with a good laundry detergent for 1-3 hours Sensitive stains sgould be rinsed in cold water, and then washed with non-chloride bleach product** Iron on a low temperature (up to Cool) Iron on a medium temperature (up to Warm) Iron on a high temperature (up to Hot) Do not iron *Always check care label before ironing any garment **Check wash care label prior to using bleach products 72 GARMENT CARE
