1 Providence Christian Academy Uniform Policy PCA is a workplace for students and teachers. Students should dress in a way to demonstrate respect for their school. Attire should be neat with all shirts tucked in shoes tied, no holes or tears in clothing. Improperly sized clothing or clingy- type fabrics are not allowed. Judgment of immodest clothing is an administrative decision. Outlandish or distracting clothing or appearance will not be allowed. The PCA uniform policy is integral to the positive learning atmosphere of the school. Continual questioning of the purposes and rules creates an attitude of rebellion, which is counterproductive. We encourage parents to ensure their child s compliance. ** Any logo or plaid uniform item must be purchased through Parker School Uniforms. ** PRE- KINDERGARTEN 8 TH GRADE GIRLS DAILY DRESS Shorts or Pants- Plain (flat front) or pleated in true khaki. (See Parker for color) No drawstrings, and shorts must be no more than 3 from top of knee (using a 3x5 index card). No cargo style pants or shorts (pockets only at waist). Skirts, Skorts, or Jumpers- School plaid or true khaki. (See Parker for color) Must be no more than 3 from top of knee (using a 3x5 index card). Jumpers in plaid only for PK- 3. Skirts are plaid or khaki for 4-8 only. Cardigan or V- Neck Pullover Vests- Solid navy. All sweaters must come from Parker and have the PCA logo. Sweaters come in Navy only (no white) and crewneck cardigans only for girls, no pullover sweaters. Socks, Tights & Leggings- Solid white, or navy socks and tights. Socks, tights or navy leggings must be worn with shoes. boots. Athletic shoes and shoelaces must be primarily white, black, navy blue, or a subdued neutral color. Logos and brand names should be minimal. Physical Education- PE uniforms are required for grades 4-8 and must be purchased from Parker School Uniforms.

2 PRE- KINDERGARTEN - 3 RD GRADE GIRLS CHAPEL DRESS Scoopneck Drop Waist Jumper- Available through Parker School Uniforms. Blouses- Peter Pan blouses in solid white available through Parker School Uniforms. Cardigan or V- Neck Pullover Vests- Solid navy. All sweaters must come from Parker and have the PCA logo. Sweaters come in Navy only (no white) and crewneck cardigans only for girls, no pullover sweaters. Socks, Tights & Leggings- Solid white, or navy socks and tights. Socks, tights or navy leggings must be worn with shoes. Shoes- Casual dress shoes must be brown, black, cordovan, or navy. No open toe shoes, sandals, clogs, boots, or tennis shoes may be worn on chapel day. 4 TH - 8 TH GRADE GIRLS CHAPEL DRESS Skirts- School plaid available through Parker School Uniforms. Jewelry for girls should be considered an accessory to the student s appearance. Jewelry in colors that do not match with the uniform may not be worn. Hair accessories for girls should be white, navy, yellow, or neutral in color. Hair accessories made from PCA s school plaid are also acceptable. Not permitted: unnaturally dyed hair colors and body piercings. 2

(See Parker for color) No drawstrings, or cargo style pants or shorts (pockets only at waist). Pants and shorts must sit at the waist and be of good fit, not oversized or low ride style. Button Down Oxford Cloth Shirts- White or light blue. Shirts must come from Parker School Uniforms and be embroidered with approved PCA logo. V- Neck Pullover Vests- Solid navy. All sweaters that are worn during school hours must come from Parker School Outerwear- Quarter Zip Pullovers in navy and grey with logo from Parker School Uniforms will be the only Socks- Solid white, navy, black, or khaki. Socks must be worn with shoes. boots. Athletic shoes and shoelaces must be primarily white, black, navy blue, or a subdued neutral color. Logos and brand names should be minimal. No sandals, clogs, boots, or tennis shoes may be worn on chapel day. * Male students are not permitted to wear earrings during school hours or while participating in school- related activities. With PCA logo must come from Parker School Uniforms Blazer- Navy blazer with detachable crest required for chapel. Both purchased through Parker School Uniforms. Shoes- Casual dress shoes in brown, black, cordovan. No open toed shoes, sandals, clogs, boots or tennis shoes or crocs may be worn on chapel day. 9 th - 12 th GRADE BOYS DAILY DRESS Shorts or Pants- Plain flat front or pleated in true khaki not light khaki.
