No rolling backpacks please as they are dangerous on walkways and stairs. Please make sure your child s first and last names are clearly marked on the outside of their backpacks. Full change of clothing (pants, shirt, 2-3 pairs of underwear, socks). Please write your child s first and last names on each item of clothing and place them in a zip lock bag with their name written on the outside of the bag. Please send in pull-ups that have the Velcro closure on the sides to help with changing.

We recommend clothing that your child can manage with ease to encourage independence Sneakers/athletic shoes are the best choice, as the children will be out on the playground each day and participating in P.E. regularly. 4 Kindergarten Needed for each student on the first day of school: Large enough to fit lunch, a homework folder, and handouts. No rolling backpacks. Lunchbox Lunchboxes that your kindergartener can easily fit inside or attach to the backpack. Sneakers/athletic shoes Sneakers/athletic shoes are the best choice for everyday wear, as the children will be out on the playground each day, and participating in P.E. regularly. Velcro shoes are helpful. Shoes with laces are fine for students who can tie their own shoes. NO light up shoes, Crocs or flip-flops.. Long pants, underwear, socks, white T-shirt. Please write your child s first and last names on each item of clothing and place in a zip lock bag with students name written on the outside of the bag. To be brought the first week of school, for individual use: 1 box 8 or 16-Crayola crayons 1 pair of Fiskars 5 inch Classic Blunt Tip Scissors, any solid color. To be brought the first week of school, for community use: 1 box tissues 1 box Crayola 12-count colored pencils
