You will have the opportunity to change into business appropriate shoes at our destinations. It is not necessary to buy new clothes for camp. Many students wear the same outfits more than once because they do not usually wear them all day. Label your belongings with your name and pack in bags that are easy to transport. It is not necessary or advisable for students to bring a large amount of cash. There is an on-campus store if students would like to purchase Georgia College & State University souvenirs. * Camp shirts will be given to students at check-in on June 10th
2 What to Bring to Your Challenge Course Day: Closed toe and secure heel shoes are required for participation or observation. Slip on clogs, flip flops or sandals (such as Chacos) are not appropriate for our activities or terrain. Old running/walking shoes work best. Weather appropriate clothing that can be layered on or off (including rain jacket if applicable). Long shorts or pants especially if you are participating in High Challenge Course activities. This makes wearing a harness much more comfortable. Water Bottle. Sunscreen and hat or sun visor. Items to secure loose hair (if applicable). Camera (optional). Your emergency inhaler or Epi-Pen, if prescribed for you. (this should be in the care of 21CL staff during this time) What to Leave Behind: Cell phones (leave them in your vehicles!). Facilitators carry cellular phones on the course for emergency response only. Unauthorized medications. Excessive jewelry such as large earrings, loose bracelets and necklaces. Valuables. There are not a lot of great places to leave your valuables when you are taking part in the program. It would be better if you left them behind in your dorm. Sunscreen and bug spray will be onsite with 21CL Staff Water Coolers will also be onsite
