2 ABOUT THE LAGOS URBAN FASHION SHOW (LUFS) The Lagos Urban Fashion Show (LUFS) is one of the highest profile fashion events in Nigeria and is the first street wear themed fashion show in Africa. The event is organized by ROUGH GEM ENTERTAINMENT and was founded in 2017 By AINA OLAWALE and was funded by a number of sponsors (including 2017 Principal sponsor FERO MOBILE). LUFS puts the Lagos street wear culture on the international stage: with the major aim of promoting street wear designers in Nigeria and Africa at large. The first edition of the show proved to be a success,as the show was sold out with over 2,500 visitors in attendance with 20 designers showcasing at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. The LUFS will take over the city of Lagos on the 17 TH of November at the renowned Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island; as we showcase what is new in the street wear industry in Nigeria and internationally. ROUGH GEM ENTERTAINMENT would like to welcome you to the world of street wear fashion as the show would be creating a platform for designers to debut their collections and promote networking & collaboration opportunities among the designers, retail buyers, influencers, the fashion savvy, press and of course, the consumers. We are dedicated to offering you the best possible platform to debut your collection in Nigeria along with unsurpassed marketing strategies to tell your brand story.

3 VISION The Lagos Urban Fashion Show 2018 is focused on uniting the international and Nigerian street wear designers, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their collections on a professional runway, thus providing the physical and creative platform to give opportunities for collaboration. This unique opportunity not only enables international designers to debut their collections in Nigeria in a spectacular fashion showcase but also provide them with the relevant resources to enter into the African market. We invite you as an international Street wear designer so as to promote the exchange of cultures and key relationships so that reciprocal businesses can be conducted to increase international relations and trade; such as our collaboration with the Hip Hop Fashion Week in Paris, France.

The cocktail event will entertain guest in a relaxed environment while networking takes place. EXHIBITION Here s the opportunity to show and sell your collection pieces and have face to face meetings with buyers.it is also the perfect combination for designers showcasing on the runway, allowing buyers to proceed to your stall to view your stock. Watch as models strut down the runway wearing your designs for the whole of Africa to see with the Theme in mind: NEW AFRICA. it will be a state of the art production aligned with international standards. The LUFS has dedicated media partners that would be Promoting and publishing all press letters, news and designers showcasing at the show. Designers would be opportuned to have exclusive interviews with top media publications, Radio & TV channels from the region and international brands. All our social media platforms, which are fast growing are useful marketing tools available to you as well as the social media reach of our partners. The maiden edition of the show in 2017 had an online reach of over 1,000,000 combining our media reach, that of our partners, ambassadors & attendees. COLLABORATIONS The LUFS has collaborations with international fashion shows like the HIP HOP FASHION WEEK, as some designers from the LUFS would be Showcasing in Paris, so as to enable the exchange of street wear cultures Between Africa and the rest of the world.

Attendance to one model fitting prior the show Allowed to have 2 personal dressers back stage and during show. Allowed 2 personal designer media staff of one photographer and one videographer. Free guest seats for the main show consisting of 8 front row seats. Bio, logo & brand name in the media kit for official buyers and media. Exclusive invite for the after party for you and your guest. Racks, Tables, Chairs, pressing iron will be provided back stage.
