1 June 30, 2016 Dear 4-Her, Please find enclosed the schedule for the H clothing construction, fashion show, Shopping In Style and Attention Shoppers judging which will be held Monday, July 11 at the 4- H Building. You will use the north room for a dressing room. When you arrive come in the south room and check in with a member of the committee. Be sure to allow enough time after you check in to get dressed and be ready for your scheduled judging time. The building will open at 8:30 A. M. Entry tags may be picked up at the Extension Office ahead of time and will be printed so you just need to bring them with your exhibits. You must have a separate entry tag for all fashion show entries and for all construction entries. You will leave all entry tags for fashion show and construction with the committee when you check in. After your construction interview please leave your entries with the judge. Be sure to put your name in all your garments, including those being used for Shopping In Style and Attention Shoppers. If you are 10 years old as of January 1 and enrolled in STEAM Clothing Level 2 or higher you are eligible for state fair fashion show. Two 4-H-ers will be selected to represent Jefferson County at the state fair. One Shopping in Style model will also be selected. The following constructed entries are not eligible for state fair fashion show Sew for Fun, STEAM Clothing Level 1, Beyond the Needle accessories. 4 H Clothing Construction Judging Schedule Clothing Construction and Beyond the Needle will be judged Monday, July 11 at the 4-H Building. Please check in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled judging time. The building will be open at 8:30 A. M. and fashion show judging starts at 9:00 A. M. Use the north room for dressing room. You will need separate entry tags for fashion show and clothing construction. After your interview with the construction judge you will leave your garments for ribbon placings and state fair selection. After the public fashion show Monday evening all garments will be left at the 4-H Building to be displayed. Be sure your name is in every garment. Please leave them on wire hangers.
